{{{ END ANNOUNCEMENT }}}
*** Peragus III Mining Station, Peragus III Asteroid Field ***
The footsteps eventually retreated deeper into the facility - in the opposite direction. Away from Weaver and his objective. Eventually, the clanking footsteps would fall silent. If Weaver moved now, he could conceivably get back to the hangar and the turbolift to the dormitories without attracting the assailant's attention - if it was an assailant. Either way, Weaver would find that with a few minor repairs, that conduit was, indeed, the one needed for the turbolift, and once replaced, the console would light up like a Christmas tree. Along with the turbolift functions, that same code was flashing on a side transmission: 3, 17, 13, 5, and 7. Regardless, the next logical step would be to take the turbolift to the Dorms and search for survivors.
*** Outpost Knightmare ***
"Not a war zone, no - but a target that the Cardassians need eliminated. With any luck, we'll attract the attention of one of those Heralds, too. Get your ship ready, and form up with mine; we leave as soon as I get back to my vessel," Jacqueline said.
*** IKV Terror Wing, Korriban Orbit ***
The hangar pressure stabilized, and Rhea had an idea. Reaching out with the Force, she clouded the minds of those in the hangar control room, in an effort to buy enough time to waylay the inspection team and get through the doors into the ship proper.
It worked. The personnel there were rendered inert, and as soon as the doors opened, Rhea was the first one out and cut down the officer without hesitation. Soon as the officer was dead, she bolted for the door, hoping her sister, Nari and Fayam were all close behind. The inspection team wouldn't be large - just an officer, two guards, and a pair of technicians.
*** New Romulus ***
"Well, if you need additional personnel, I know a place you could look," Temer suggested. "There are always general crew mercs looking for work; in fact, the Klingon Defense Force recently built an enclave on Qo'nos for them to offer their services to passing starships. Sol III Also has one, too - though, in contrast to the mercs on Qo'nos, who are better at fighting and keeping a ship fit for battle, the mercs on Sol III are much more suited to more scientific duties, but still maintain ships admirably."
"... And that should do it," Selek sighed. "And none too soon - god knows when those triggers will get here, but when they do, the Tal Shiar will be in for a nasty surprise when this thing doesn't do what they expect."
*** Carnival Grounds, Earth ***
"Yeah, but you said you're from Corneria," Amy said.
*** Dragon'taan Orbit ***
The ship docked at an orbital station, and the seat belt sign was off again, and everyone began getting up and getting their belongings so they could head down to the surface.
*** Corneria ***
[WF-1]
To Lord Rekluss' surprise, the enclave was already embroiled in a pitched fight between Sith Covenant forces and a task force comprised of KDF and Romulan Republic marines.
[WF-4]
The NCO began barking orders, and personnel inside began handing off civvies to liberator forces. But the fight just ahead was getting dire, with neither side showing signs of letting up.
[WF-8]
The fight in the Government Enclave was getting tense, even though the balance of forces favored the Liberators. Still, the Sith Covenant forces refused to surrender.
[WF-14]
The CMO shook his head. "You're asking the wrong person, pal - I'm a doctor, not a soldier. But this needs to be reported."
*** Corneria Orbit ***
In yet another surprise twist, the commingled forces of the Eternal Alliance appeared, consisting of various ships from various factions, all emblazoned with a peculiar half-Republic, half-Sith Empire symbol. The ships were running with shields and weapons powered, but made no hostile gesture to the Liberators; but transporter signatures were detected.
Unbeknownst to the Liberators, a strike team of Commandos led by Major Aric Jorgan beamed to the lowest level of the Government Enclave - where the artifact was suspected to be. "Havoc Squad, reporting in - we're ready to move."
*** Mongdrigo, Cave Exterior Battleground ***
"Then let's get her to the hospital," Malgus suggested. "Can your men stabilize her enough to last till we get there?"
"I'll help," Ahsoka offered. "What can I do?"
*** Earth Orbit ***
"Unidentified pod, we are sending out tractor tugs to bring you aboard - sit tight," radioed the UNSC Chaos March.
*** Nephira, Kingdom of Ceol, Home of Hysteria ***
Silrus studied the anomaly, the spoke, "This... could be another cloaked ship." He silently muttered about why everyone was coming here, and half of them being cloaked. "If you can send an open transmission, they might respond, and give us some clue to their intent."
*** Imperium Bunker, Dragon'taan ***
"Agreed, but make it quick - in another minute--" Roc started, but was cut off by alert klaxxons.
*** Bast Castle, Vjun ***
Just as Krystal had said this, a middle-aged man wearing a black, hooded cloak opened the door. This was not Anakin, but rather, one of his servants. "Who calls for Lord Vader?"
Markus raised an eyebrow, but nonetheless identified himself: "Lord-Admiral Markus Tokarev, United Alliance Coalition."
*** Unseen Avenger, Sangheilios ***
"Regardless, I am happy to see brothers that had originally been thought lost return to us," Thel told Kyva. "Now, given you were traveling in the company of humans, am I correct in assuming you've put any misgivings about them aside?"
*** Azeroth Orbit ***
Two vessels dropped out of Warp over Azeroth - a Reman Scimitar-class Warbird, and a Romulan D'Derridex-class Warbird. Both were commanded by denizens that called Azeroth home. "Been a long time since I laid eyes on this place," Ketorr commented.
"Still, not a bad place to have a second home," Lian responded over an open channel. Ketorr looked down at his young son. "See that? That's were daddy met mommy." Young John looked up at his mother.
"Is that true, mommy?" he asked.
