yeah, whats worng?
Umh ._. I guess since furries would be pretty civilized, then they should wear clothes not only for body concealment, but also for fashion and social status reasons :/

But why would they necessarily feel the need to conceal :p

maybe clothing would just simply be a fashion statement, since the whole shamefulness of not having it came from a few religious beliefs

To me kind of depends.

If the furry is going to be more 'human like' then clothing works well, gives the furry personality.

If the furry is more animal like, then clothing just looks too strange.
Reminds me of when people dress up their pets, not sure why, looks terrible for me

I just looked at my folder where I keep all the art I collected from Deviant Art (for laptop backgrounds) - 90% of it no clothes, the art is more animal-like than human-like

Many of the people from my own story and role play setting, all of many various species and body types, wear military attire, even if they aren't soldiers. Their world, called Domiparadu, is a fascist militarist culture, so dress uniforms and combat fatigues are rather highly fashionable. Even full suits of plate armor are pretty commonly worn, casually so. In fact on such armor, ostentatious gildings, embossings, and engravings of custom design are a great way to get both attention and respect.

On the flipside, complete nudity isn't uncommon, members of some species are generally more often nude than individuals of others. Probably male Robot Dragons, I like to think~ Nobody's genitals are present when not in use, so... that solves the problem of indecency.

Those who opt in for public nudity often have to temporarily remove those exposed parts, then add them back on when they wanna do private things. It's quick, painless, costs nothing, leaves no scars, and is done without having to see a surgeon! Although, if the individual is of a species that already has their reproductive organs hidden away, they just use something that keeps it from showing in public.

This civilisation I speak of is quite incredibly ancient, having existed since the very early days of the universal calendar. That is to say, the world is about twelve billion years old, thus they are... pretty inconceivably advanced in terms of culture and technology.

Back to the clothing, the most popular types of plate armor are those inspired by the Gothic style, designed by Holy Roman Imperials during Earth's fifteenth century. In fact power armor variants of the style are standard issue in the Domiparadan military. HERE is a modern production of the Gothic style armor.

I don't have a preference for all furries, but for me I typically prefer less clothes with exceptions honestly just for fashion (call me vain) in real life so...

I like clothes, but I prefer less. I think the fur patterns on an anthro are more interesting to look at than clothes.
