Sicklo felt sick (as it were) when they entered her new black dimension. She had put her veil back over her mouth and didn't look nearly as bad as before. 'Do not feel anger towards Mother,' She began towards the other two, 'Her judgement was right; and in all fairness... I got off lightly.' She could see the protest in the both of them, 'She was more angry at the fact I had contributed to endangering spirits; but of course she was dissapointed in me for wanting to overthrow her at first.' The mark of a traitor. she thought woefully, thinking of how she was born.
Mother had created every original divinity-- but that had been with Bellé's magic-- and so none of them had been her true blood children. Sicklo, on the other hand had been concieved naturally with a divinity that no one knew of. Rumours stretched from the divinity of curses to the divinity of black magic (Mother seemed to like her bad lads perhaps?)... but Sicklo only thought they said this because she was 'tainted' and ugly.
When she had been born (in the rather unpleasant way that was known), Mother, although aware that Sicklo was the sole heir of the dimensions, had unconsciously rejected her; sending her to the loneliest realm and always expecting betrayal. Do you feel satisfied? She asked to Mother without her hearing; but this wasn't unkind, it was more sad.
Her thoughts turned towards Jensuno and Renkako, I know they won't give it up, but they don't understand how easily they can be crushed... and how alone they are.
'Interesting.' Mother noted as she looked at the one who was left behind, 'You can sit in my chair-- and your names Chrono-- (the realisation suddenly hit her) so I suspect... you're my son.' From all the emotion she felt, from all of the wanting him back, she didn't feel much at all. 'What should I expect from you? One who has re-incarnated 8 times as a living spirit? Clearly your lives have been short, and closely one after another; so that shows some eagerness I suppose. Why should I let someone who has been softened by mortality and affected by the divinity Kreal (divinity of life) and his seven daughters (seven sins)?'
Looking back at him she quipped 'I already have one dissapointing child, will I have another?'
Whilst under the radar of the other strifes, Ren had been getting more powerful. His appearence had changed dramatically. He was still a fox-like divinity, but now his main fur colour had gone completely black, with his eyes a bright orange and his paws and chest hair golden fire. He had thrown away his weapons, he no longer had need of them. Slipping out of the crumbling dimension of chance, he had so far gained the divinity essences of sickness, anger, chance and panic. I will be the new grand guardian... he smiled to himself, and as soon as he gained more foolish divinities' essences... he would take away a much bigger prize-- the essence of Mother's lost brother.
Jensuno laughed in surprise when he had sunk down into his core 'I see we are all here! And you all found the place well, undetected I hope?' He looked around at the 10 other divinities... 'And who would have known so many would oppose Mother right at the beginning??'
