Atticus growled and wiped the blood fromhis face and he walked over to Emericks dead body and kicked it in the ribs hard enough that a few audible cracks could be heard," serve's him right... are you okay?" He turns to look at her wound," If a scar is what you want, I can heal it but have it scar over if you want."

She smiles at Atticus and ignores the body on the floor for now. "I think letting the wound heal on its own is what's best for now. And besides," She pauses, undoing the makeshift bandage. "I'm a pretty fast healer if I'm healthy enough." She smiles, the wound all ready starting to close from the inside out.

He growled and stomped on Emericks arm, hearing a satisfying snap of bone," okay, just let me know if you need anything..." He walked over to her and he held her close and smiled slightly, breathing deeply in and then back out.

[Lokyar Brightmane]

Lokyar heard the sounds of scuffling and ran in, mace drawn, and swung at the first man-sized shadow he saw: A thin bookcase. He used that momentum to start whirling like a dervish, shattering more bookcases and cabinets until he neared the hugging pair, still whirling. The mace lashed out; Lokyar couldn't see past the darkness clouding the room to your identities. He was breathing heavily.

Atticus garbbed the handle of the mace and easily disarmed him pulling his arm behind his back," calm down...." Atticus released him and handed back the mace," okay?" he turned to kitane and went to hug her again.

Lokyar fell to the ground when he was released, panting heavily.

"...You were fighting... I heard it... Are you ok, Atticus?... And is that Kitane?"

[Kitane Blackfyre]

Smiling, she leans into him until Lokyar comes into the room, swinging his mace. A small chuckle emits from her and she nods. " Yes, it's Kitane." She answers his question. She hugs Atticus back and stretches slightly.

"Yeah i'm fine... But emerick isn't..." he smiled but he looked saddened at the same time, good thing the darkness hid what he looked like. He closed his eyes and held onto kitane. He gently lifted her head and kissed her lips deeply. When they parted, he looked down,"I have a bad feeling about this..."

Zephyr ran into the house, activating the night-vision capabilities in his eyes. Looking around, he quickly realized what happened. "Emerick tried to kill you, Kitane?" he asked, stooping down to look at Emerick's still form. He chuckled. "Can't say I didn't warn the poor bastard... and sorry about your foot Atticus." Standing, he walked over to Kitane in time to see her side healing itself. "Impressive... there's more to you than what one would first see." Just then, he noticed the small marking on her side. "And I suppose that's one of your vampire symbols," he said, pointing at it. "Makes sense. Now..." He gently picked Atticus up and placed him on the couch, then injected a needle into his arm. "Sit still for about five minutes," he said. "You foot bones should be fixed by then. Get up any sooner and you'll lose the foot." He shook his head. "Didn't I tell you that the metal is practically unbreakable? No? Well, it is, and he's covered in it. And yeah... something's up here..." Standing up once again, he walked over to Kitane. "So are you alright?"

"He did WHAT?" Lokyar shouted, and looked around for Emerick's body. Finding it on the first go - luckily - he swung his mace down with all his might, unleashing energy into the statue, aiming to get his revenge.

There was a flash and a cloud of smoke, and a heavy, fleshy/furry thump. When you could see again, Lokyar was unconscious against the opposite wall, with heavy energy burns, bruises and broken ribs on his front, and bruises and further cracking to his ribs on his back where he hit the wall. The Emerick-statue was undamaged.

[Kitane Blackfyre]

As Atticus kissed her, she kissed him back, her face slightly red in the darkness. "Yeah, I'm fine." She smiled as she watches the wound finish healing. "Something doesn't feel right.." She mumbles. "I'm gonna scout around the house. Don't come after me, I'll contact you through these." She says, handing each of them a comm unit that went around the neck and a single headphone. "If you need me for any reason, then just use these." She says, all ready having hers on and ready. Nodding to them, she makes her way from the living room to the upper floors, slinking through the shadows as if she were part of them.

Zephyr sighed in aggravation, rolling his eyes. "Doesn't anyone listen to me?!" He gently takes the comm unit. "Alright," he said icily. "But give us a call if you need us, too."

Atticus whimpered slightly and put on his com unit and he follower her regardless. He waved goodbye to the others as he left and he smiled when he was silent and she didn't know he was following her. He grinne and watched her hind paws hit the ground silently, up on her toes, giving him a nice view of her soles. His face reddened and he shook his head, looking ahead and silently drawing his sword as he felt something evil and strong up ahead.

Zephyr sighed. "Why not," he said, handing his comm unit to Jeff. "If someone calls you, come help." With those words, he left the room, his hand on the hilt of his dagger.

Jeff walked over to Lokyar and jabbed a similar syringe into his arm. "You'll be fine in five minutes," he said, smiling.

"I will never understand how Zephyr managed to make those things," Isabel said. "But I suppose it might be for the best."

[Kitane Blackfyre]

The fur on the back of her neck raises as she senses a familiar presence, one she used to know. A shiver runs down her spine and she pauses mid-stride. "Aerrow." She hisses, suddenly speeding forward and becoming a blur in the shadows. She follows the power trail, wondering how in the hell he'd managed to get in the house. Finally, she comes up to the roof, noticing a figure at the opposite end of the roof. "So you finally took his side, huh..?" She says, a low growl behind her voice as a shadow falls over her eyes. Te figure at the opposite end turns, his shoulder length, dirty blonde hair blowing slightly in the breeze.

"You were always the favorite." He says, his crimson eyes narrowing.
