There are a lot of foxes, but it's okay. People want to be what they want to be.

I'm a dragon/leopard/peacock prancing around in a N. Korean soccer jersey because I want to be. Plus, I have strong connections with the animals I chose for my fursona.

If you look closely at my 3rd stamp, Churchill has a Kricketot, Roosevelt has a Chimchar, and Stalin has a Happiny. :D

Clearing things up: I'm not living in N. Korea currently. My parents (miraculously) escaped there and came to the US from South Korea. So I'm a miracle-worker I guess. XD I luv my parents. They be awesome.

mine was originally made to look just like me visually and emotionally but just not human that's why he has a eye patch (i am half blind) and looks very young and innocent (im only 14 and i am a overall good person who gets bullied) the other reason i made him look so cute and fluffy was to make other furs feel pity for me being bullied (i was even stabbed.....)

well KangaDrake just sounds cooler to me anyways X3

maybe most peoples first fursona is a fox and they either do one of two things, grow out of the fox stage and get a new animal OR make a hybrid like what KangaDrake did and i think hes the only roo/fox i know of. You get some interesteing creatures when people make hybrids.

Try to look beyond the species; what're they like? What are their hobbies? Hair? Clothes? Eye colour? Build?

Additionally, "feline" is a broad spectrum. What kind of feline? Cheetah? Serval? Lynx? Housecat? I mean, I'm a housecat, but I suppose my "originality" point is the fact I like being turned into stuff! I used to be a bit more static (Granted, I always seem to end up back to a housecat anthro :p), but my point is, there's a lot more you can look at instead of shaking your head and switching off the minute you see "Fox", "Cat" or "Wolf".

this is exactly why I encourage others to think outside the furry box. I have thought of running a mink before, they are so epic :3

Or a raptor... raptors and dragons are like the foxes and wolves of the scaly side of the fandom.

My IRL friend told me a few days ago during when he called me just to chat that he would be a fox, when before he's said fox/dragon/cat hybrid. That would've been better, but now he wants to just be a fox as far as I know. I thought "well, he isn't helping this topic" haha. But oh well.

I knew to stay away from foxes when I made my fursona. So I chose a Husky because I feel as if that breed is somehow similar to my personality. I don't care to much about other people not being too original,  but when I look around and see ridiculous hybrids like dragon mice, or Cat Dragons (IDK, I just pulled those off the top of my head), I think they thought, "You know what would look cool? __________(Insert weird hybrid here)_____________"
