I actually went to a military exchange ((I'm in a military town)) and got those silver army 'dog tags' that are worn to combat (get it, dog tags? XD)

I'm thinking about it, and I don't think I want one. But I'm still not sure.

My girlfriend told me that she hates dog collars because they give the impression that you're owned by someone and she doesn't like that. She also said they're way too trendy, and to a point I agree with her.

However, I think it varies from furson to furson, and if you're just here for the roleplay and art then so be it! If wear a collar to feel more in touch with your furry self, fine! To each their own.

Since I'm a wild animal, I don't like the idea of wearing a collar at the risk of feeling "chained down." But I do like to think of myself as a family member and companion, and I'd like to wear one, or just have one..I dunno. I think I need more time to think.

Well, maybe I'll think about it. Just wear one and see how I feel...or try on my dog's collar. I think of it like the Fox and the Hound, where the fox winds up getting a collar until the heartbreaking scene where he's let go.

I'd be careful about using a dogs collar
I used my dogs collar and it was very itchy and dirty and didn't leave a good impression at all.
Now that I have my own collar it's clean and much nicer :D
