well not only is it the fact that i have a lot of stress on me right now.... it's also that everyone kinda beats the hell outa it with all the repetitive music, and decorations.... it kinda takes all the joy out of it.....

not to sound like a broken record, but the card companys abuse it too. all to make a profit. Witch isnt necessarily bad, but when it overtakes the holiday itself, then its bad

technically since i've battled depression all my life... it's never really been joyful... but i used to get excited about it because it was something i found fun... but as i had more stress build up and got deeper into depression it kinda just wasn't something i could get excited about... kinda like my birthday....

but with the nonstop music, people around me making a big deal out of nothing, the sometimes excessive decorating (though some excessiveness has been impressive), the nonstop holiday reruns of tv shows.... it's more annoying than joyful and just isn't worthwhile to me...
