Jensuno had finally recharged his energy and set to fighting the tougher faceless. Usually, he would take his time and lazily enjoy his onslaught of them, but practically everyone had stood to fight. This had shocked him, and moved him close to tears, but he fought on; striking any enimies that got too close to his residents without their notice. Its good to have more than a pair of arms! he thought cheerfully as he managed to knock the katana wielding hero off guard and slice him with a karate style chop. Hes made this batch a lot more powerful! Jensuno thought as a fireball struck him in the face.
'...That hurt.' He said with a rather wounded tone, pummeling half of his arms into the hero and crushing him. When he defeated the heroes, they seemed to emit energy that he could absorb, laughing he realised 'I see Darr wants me ready as soon as possible.' After all, when he expelled enough energy to kill a Hero, it seemed the energy let out was enough to get him to full strength. I wish the spirits could get revived from the energy too...Ah! Good plan Jensuno! Whist fighting off the Hero with a few arms (a few arms shows how advanced these Heros are), other arms stretched out and gently touched each spirit on the shoulder lightly, restoring their stamina by sacrificing some of his own. This might be a bit of a gamble... I'm now only on half energy and decreasing! He thought to himself in an oddly cheery tone.
Renkako noticed her plan was not working when even more shatterings in the sky were happening faster than she could patch them up. Turning back into her whole self, she thought of a plan B. My normal residents won't get hastled by these faceless; they only attack hostile or wanted targets. That was what she hoped anyway. I think we need to condense our power... 'Katar! Howl! Marius! Vosur! Get to the portal which takes you to Folen! Two divinities and many more allies are better to deal with this lot!' Sensing other spirits that were attacking the faceless, she signalled to them too. 'Get back to Folen. All of this will be easier to manage there.' Her voice level was normal, but they could still here from a while away. In the end, it was up to them if they chose a safer route; it would be almost impossible to fend all of these off without her help.
Clearing the path of faceless with blasts of golden spikes, she used her huge claws with difficulty on the surviving heroes; and despite herself, wanted to see Jensuno more than anything in the world.
Mother drew back, clearly wounded badly by her brother after a long battle. He was in bad shape too, perhaps even a little bit worse off; but both still had a lot of fight in them. 'You have been training Lannenin, but you're still not good enough.' She rasped, ashamed her son saw her like this.
'Do not be mistaken sister, if I do not win this time, I will come again and again for you!' He declared defiantly, as Darr's portal began to materialise.
