*I nod* "that sounds good"


*Vay* "the main dish it always mentioned was something called 'stroopwaffels' and also mentioned Dutch Chocolate - the closest we had in the past was one of Jyo's friends, who is a Belgian"

[Derik Fray]

"Better than mine the closest I had was a McFlurry"

[Firox]

   *I nod* "I haven't had one in years - in early March, another of Jyo's friends was going to visit, at the end couldn't come, an Omani mongoose, maybe will get to visit next March"

[Derik Fray]

"maybe and maybe not I guess we'll have to wait and find out."

[Firox]

*I look down as the sound of eating came to an end... realize the six are curled underneath me having a good nap, Linette was going to come and grab them, I tells her not to worry, they are fine*


*looking over at Derik* "maybe we can make something similar to that flurry dessert, we have just about every ingredient to make something similar - milk, cream, various ice cream flavors, and chocolate chip cookies, and I have icy cold attacks.... we should be good for them, likely later on, right now keeping...."
*showing the six below me*
"... the six company"




*Linette realizes once more, way too much spinach for us alone*
"we are going to give lots of it to the Greek restaurant, anybody want to come?"

*I nod, but taking care of the six, do tell her* "can I get a big lamb gyro?"
*she nods, turns to Derik* "would you like something, or would you like to come, its Greek restaurant, so lots of various appetizers, entrees, and desserts to pick from"

[Derik Fray]

"Yeah I'll come along mainly cause it's Greek and I've never been to a Greek restaurant."
*I grab my lab coat and begin to follow Linette.*
"and we can make the flurry when we get back I know most of how it's made."

[Firox]

*Linette along with Ziemran and Derik arrive, its only 5 minute walk from den, pass the bakery and ice cream shop*
"Here we are, will give some time to look at the menu"

*Zoran along with the manager head to back speaking out loud in Greek*
*Linette has no idea what they are saying - also looks at menu to decode what to get the rest*
"Gyro is kind of a sammflat bread sandwich with either lamb, beef, and even vegetarusn, with tomato, and cucumber and a cucumber yogurt sauce called tzatziki, might get all that - also the spanakopita is so good, its kind of a spinach pie wrapped in phylo dough. They have flan and baklava for dessert"


*in back manager and Zoran still having a conversion in Greek*

[Derik Fray]

"I think I will try a Gyro and a baklava for desert, Just seems like an interesting choice to me."

*Sits back and waits for others to decide and order before I order*

[Firox]

*Linette waits for Derik order first - then orders for everyone, a little of all*
*Zoran finishes speaking with manager meets both*
"They are happy with the frsh extra spinach"


(Ill be off for a while - about to start work, hopefully battety lasts thus time)

[Derik Fray]

"Was that what that conversation was about."
*I ask while we wait on the food.*

(Okay hope your phone survives the day.)

Zoran "about donating the spinach, and general chit chat"
*even when speaking image has an accent, to Linette and Derik might not hear the difference, to those working they can tell its not Greek accent either, Zoran learned it English and Greek, his native language is Macedonian*

*manager in English to Derik* "have some hummus and pita chips, one of our most popular appetizers, we usually serve them for free to customers, Zoran says its first time visiting - we hopes you visit often"

*Other chef passes Linette the rest if the orders*


(Hopefully, its a smaller working day)

[Derik Fray]

"Thanks for the appetizers and I'll be sure to come around a little more often. Do you need some help Linette?"

*I offer my help*

(Hopefully it is)

*nods*
*they pass some boxes, about 5 or so*
*good thing den is only 5 min walk*

*back inside, as usual Vay prepares the serving table, as rest help set all out*

"All ready"

*I sit down and prepare to eat*

"So I guess this will be the first time I eat Greek food Wonder how it is."
