The bus driver groaned, and a massive paw shot out of the top of the bus, grabbed Oanta, and pulled him into the bus. The vehicle then sped off down the road, quickly escaping the purple miasma.


Ray sighed, and removed the cloth from his face. "So...that happened. But, we made it with everyone, right?"

As we left the purple miasma, Maylien slowly regained her sanity. She was still badly hurt but her wounds were a little worse because of her struggling.

"I got the mask on in time, so they weren't affected..." He smiled. "I'll have to properly introduce them at some point. But we have more important things to consider. Namely... Who launched those things?"
