The world has plunged into a second ice age, the anthro population must rely on sled pulling ferals to make society work. Among this they are responsible for deliveries, as well as very important ones; such as medicine. Food has to be dug up from the snow, often times feral units are called upon to help the monotonous digging process. Frozen over oceans, along with accumulated snow, allows world-wide travel. Raiders are far and few between due to freezing conditions. You are allowed and able to join mid-rp as survivors as long as you post your character sheet here!
Sky scrapers are mostly the only buildings above snow/ice level. Along with giant sequoia trees being the main source of wood for making sleds. Guns cannot be used due to the freezing weather, and bullets are hard enough to find as is. Melee weapons, claws, and paws are the only way to fight.
A virus has taken place among a few furs, enough to affect the remaining population and warrant medicine due to the disease making furs belligerent; often turning back to a true feral nature. Plithovirus only spreads through blood and saliva, making it hard to infect others since it affects motor skills as well.
