I'd much rather invest my money in something that would have a sure chance of giving returns, so I wouldn't gamble... However, the casino that just opened over here sent my mom $20 in credit to try it out, I might as well use that. :P

Honestly so long as you know how to moderate yourself gambling is the same as any other thing you spend money on for entertainment, ie: Movies, etc.

I personally like to play poker so I play a $5 hand every two or so weeks and I mean I break even and I have fun meh... its a matter of opinion  ... blackjack I don't play so much because normally its more expensive ^^;

I agree, that's why I voted for Question 7 here in Maryland (It was a question put on the ballot that asked whether we should open another casino around here) People can become addicted to anything, and if their addiction helps create jobs and fund schools, then great. And people would just travel over to West Virgina to gamble anyway, so it keeps the money local either way. x3

^ Debatable ... because then after they gamble there souls away, tax payers would have to pay for them via them probably abusing SS, and all kinds of what not.
