Acension Revival

[Aconitum]

Acon put a hand over her beak as she snickered. "Oh yeah. Who wouldn't have seen that?" She joked, cackling loudly.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed, and after a time looked at Acon. "Y'know...I haven't been this happy in a good while."

[Aconitum]

Acon tilted her head, giving Ray a small smile. "Oh yeah? Why's that?" She reached across the table and placed a hand on Ray's paw.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed. "Just a few...business problems...that's all." He offered a weak smile, but his cheeks burned when Acon's hand reached his own paw.

[Aconitum]

Acon poked Ray's nose. "Don't be sad, little bird. Listen, how 'bout after brunch, I make it worth your while?" She winked. "At the arcade!"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray shrugged. "I guess...never been a fan of arcades but...eh. Why not?" He sighed. "Thanks, Acon."

[Aconitum]

Acon chuckled. "It's okay. We don't have to go to the arcade. I just thought I'd say something that sounded more fun than moping about like a depressed manatee."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray chuckled. "I suppose that's a better alternative. Anyway...where's our food?" He looked around for the waiter 'It's been a while..."

[Aconitum]

Acon furrowed her brow. "Yeah... It has been a while, hasn't it?" She turned around to see what the hold up was, but when she saw what was behind her, she nearly shat her pants. "Uh... We need to go. Now." She whipped back around to face Ray. "The cops are here."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked. "O-Oh..." He stood up, and offered a paw to Acon. "C'mon dear, we're going to be late for our...appointment..."

Acon stood up slowly, taking Ray's paw. "We're so dead if they see me." She whispered.

Ray quickly lead Acon towards the door, hoping the police wouldn't notice them.

One of the officers talking to the host noticed Ray and Acon as soon as they stood. "Hey, you two." He called.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked, and stopped. "Yes sir?" He looked at the officer, and smiled. "How can I assist?"

[Aconitum]

The officer eyed Ray a moment before he looked at Acon who was hiding her face skillfully in Ray's shoulder. "We're looking for someone. Keeps coming into town, running hefty restaurant bills and then skips out halfway through the meal."
