Acension Revival

[Rayleonarde]

Ray paused. "Hm...then I guess we leave a bum check? Say we're mister and missus so-and-so, and duck out the front?"

[Aconitum]

Acon snorted. "That could work." She shrugged again. "I guess we could just wait and see. You know... Cross that bridge when we come to it." She said as they entered the lobby of the hotel.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "Right." He turned, and smiled at the host. "Hello. We'd like a table for two, please."

[Aconitum]

The host eyed the two suspiciously, taking in their appearances a moment before shrugging and waving them along behind him. "Right this way." He said, leading them to a table somewhere near the back end of the restaurant.

Ray followed along, sighing. "Well...nice place, right dear?" He looked over at Acon, a very exaggerated smile on his face.

[Aconitum]

Acon looked up at Ray and chuckled. "Oh yes! Very nice. I'm so glad we decided to come here, darling~" She cooed before they were seated. At she settled down in her chair, the young vulture took a look around the dining room for the closest exit. Unfortunately, it seemed their only way out was through the door right next to the host's desk.

Ray waited for the host to leave, before talking. "We'll tell 'em we left the checkbooks in the car, and scarper quick-like." He chuckled. "So, what's on the menu?"

[Aconitum]

Acon smirked. "Sounds like a plan, Stan." She then opened her own menu, scanning it quickly with her ice-blue eyes. "Looks like... Steak, pheasant... And some weird fish shit pastry crap." She rolled her eyes. "Rich people eat some weird crap for breakfast."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "That's for sure. So...we're gonna get the most expensive stuff, or stuff we actually want to eat?"

[Aconitum]

Acon laughed. "Both. We have to splurge and make these clowns think we've got a big tip in store for them."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "Sounds good." He perused the menu for a while, and then nodded. "I've got my mind set, what about you?"

[Aconitum]

Acon nodded as she shut her menu and set it aside. "Yup! You do realize, we're never gonna be able to come back here, right?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "Yeah. I'm not too keen on coming back anyway. Hate fancy places."

[Aconitum]

Acon gave him the thumbs up. "Good." She smiled when the waiter came to take their orders. The look on the poor fellow's face was priceless when they finished telling him everything they wanted.

Ray waved the waiter off, and laughed as he left. "Did you see his face?"
