Acension Revival

[Aconitum]

((This is true But I think this change fits me more so than any other.))

Acon walked down a narrow alleyway, twirling a set of keys around on her finger. The smile she wore on her beak was mischievous, meaning she was looking to get herself into a bit of trouble.

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie nodded, and stuffed the note into his pocket. "Got it. I'll wait for your call, miss."


Ray was walking absentmindedly down an alleyway, and nearly collided with Acon. He, however, sidestepped at the last moment, and apologized. "S-Sorry..."

[Aconitum]

Acon gave Ray a sideways glance before she straightened her jacket and put her keys back in her pocket. "It's okay, I guess. But! Now you have to buy me dinner as a way to make up for your clumsiness."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked, and stopped dead in his tracks. "I-I'm sorry, what? You...want me to buy you dinner?" He thought a moment, before shrugging. "Sure...why not?" Ray sighed, and smiled. "Where would you like to go, friend?"

[Aconitum]

Acon offered him a smile before she placed a hand on his shoulder. "What time is it? I'd like brunch at some really fancy hotel. I want it to be super duper expensive, so I hope you've got a lot on you."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray smiled. "Nope. But they don't have to know that, right?" He chuckled, and offered a paw. "Name's Ray."

[Aconitum]

Acon laughed and took Ray's paw into her own, giving it a firm shake. "Acon. Nice to meet you. I like your style, Ray. I can tell we're gonna be bros real quick." Keeping hold of his paw, Acon began leading Ray in the direction of the hotel she wanted to eat at.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray followed along, smiling. He hadn't felt this good in a long while. "So...Acon. Where're you from? You don't seem like the run-of-the-mill individuals that creep about."

[Aconitum]

"I was born in Arizona, but raised somewhere in the outskirts of Acension." Acon said with a shrug. "So you probably haven't seen me around cause I rarely venture to these parts."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded as he walked. "Fair enough. I was born here, but traveled for...business reasons." He sighed. "But, a story for another day. So, where are we gonna eat?"

[Aconitum]

Acon did a strange movement with her head before she snapped her fingers. "Some garden Inn. A big shot around here owns it and I heard he only hires the best of the best to cook at his hotels. I figured now was as good a time as ever to check it out."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "That sounds good. I've not been keeping tabs on the new businesses cropping up. I'm glad I bumped into you, Acon."

[Aconitum]

Acon tossed a glance over her shoulder at Ray and scoffed. "I know you are. Now, what's our plan of action since we're gonna be dining and dashing?" She asked as they approached a very large, elegant looking building that resembled something like a castle.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray chuckled. "We eat, duck into our respective restrooms, and then slip out the windows." He smiled. "Shouldn't be too hard."

[Aconitum]

Acon shrugged. "I hope not, but what if this joint has those bathroom monkeys that give you the towels and stuff? Or what if there aren't any windows in there?"
