[Tina]

"...that is just the small part. Ever since mom...passed...he has lost all care for me. I became his personal punching bag, anytime he felt angry he took it out on me. I have been sent to the hospital more times than I can count...and my father just pays the doctors to keep quiet." Ruby looks at Rose and sighs.
"That day I bashed you into a locker, my dad had done something very similar." Ruby let's her dress slip and shows an awful lot of burns scars that had purposefully been covered up.

[Cifero Windtail]

Cassy blinked and looked at the scars, trying to remember when she had tackled Ruby. ...Come to think of it, the light in the locker room is dull enough to conceal those. "...Geez," she managed, rubbing the back of her head. "I... I'm sorry."

[Tina]

(Ruby probably used make up or something to cover the scares)

"It's fine...I had no right to take my anger out on you." Ruby says and Rose is actually starting to lighten her expression.
"...I forgive you." Rose says putting a hand to her own scar. Ruby actually starts to cry and hugs both Cassy and Rose.
"I don't know...how to repay you." Ruby cries.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray knocked louder on the door, and spoke. "Jayce? I-It's Ray, can I come in? Please...I need a place to rest."


Jayce, however, made no move for the door, and his grip on the pistol tightened.

Cassy flushed a little and hugged both Ruby and Rose back, deciding to leave answering that question to Rose. Personally, she didn't feel like Ruby needed to repay her. Helping another person was thanks enough.



Zanthe didn't turn around either. "...It could be a trap," she murmured. "But even so... why are you so tense?"

(....Did you do that on purpose? o-o)

Jayce sighed. "'Cause the Zambian is everywhere."


Ray tapped on the door again. "Please? Let me in, Jayce."

[Cifero Windtail]

Zanthe raised an eyebrow. "The Zambien is a shapeshifter?" she asked. "Or is he just good at getting people under his control?" She kept her back to the door. "If it's the second one, I don't think he'd be able to use Ray again unless Ray didn't know it. Valentine is safe."

[Tina]

Rose thought for a moment. Sure Ruby had hurt her...but Ruby has felt more pain in her whole life than Rose had in that single moment.
"...you don't owe me anything...except maybe free dance lessons." Rose says and gives her version of a smile. Ruby nods and hugs a little longer before letting go.
"Thank you both...now if you don't mind I need to finds some new clothes."

"If you don't mind baring your midriff, I could lend you some of mine," Cassy said, stretching a bit. The redness around her navel had faded away.

Jayce sighed, which came out more shakily than he wanted. "Both." He stood, and kept his gun at the door, as he moved for the eyelet.

Zanthe pulled a balaclava out of her pocket and tugged it on, then put a hand on Jayce's shoulder. "In that case," she whispered. "Let me go first."

Jayce nodded, and moved away from the door.


Ray, hearing movement, stepped away from the door, and waited.

Zanthe carefully opened the eye slot. "Hello?" she said, disguising her voice.

Ray blinked. "U-Uh...hello? W-Who is t-this?"

"An associate of the man you are looking for," she replied. "And who might you be?"
