"Yep that's Zanthe...*sigh* she's going to get herself killed isn't she." Kammy stood back up and sniffed the air, getting an idea of where they went.

As soon as Devin was out of the room, Zanthe got up, grabbed Devin's bag, and ran outside and down the street to the nearby building project, holding a small remote in her other hand.

Devin then paused seeing his bag gone, his stomach twisted, He ran to the couch see the anthro gone. Looking around the house he then ran out the door swinging it open to run outside looking around before looking at Zanthe across the street with his bag and object in her hand.

Zanthe quickly ran into the construction site and pressed the first button on the remote. The side walk in front of the complex suddenly burst into flame as tiny fuses ignited, creating a temporary wall of fire.... just enough time for her to take the lift up one floor.

Zanthe ran onto the second floor, wincing as more blood started to leak from her wound, staining her shirt red and starting to wash off the fur dye underneath. She pressed another button, which created a sudden flash bang attack on the first floor.


Meanwhile, unbeknownst to either of them, far beneath Zanthe's fake house, a faulty gas line was plotting to finally reveal itself...


Cassy nodded. "... Okay," she said, taking off her jacket. "We'll be learning right here, then?"

The catfox continued to climb, her breathing becoming more and more labored from the blood loss. There was a crane that could be jumped to from the top of the building; she could use it to escape. Glancing down, she saw Devin pursuing her and continued on to the next floor, ready to press another button on the remote.
