nuuuuuu theres a BIG difference in the sounds and the way they use loops in electro and techno >.<

Most of the time, yea. I thought a group known as kitsune was techno but I was wrong. I must admit, there song, Lovesick, is really awesome. I am also listening to Lovesick by kitsune now

the TYPES of sounds electro/house/trance/electro/dance use are generally similar, but the techniques they use in the music makes them what they are.

I generally find dance has more vocals, techno more bass & trance is more minimalistic. Is this right or am I talking out of the top of my head :S ?

Ah...that's funny.

I'm a huge fan of Rush, it's about the only thing I listen too, since it's what my dad raised me on. :P

Now I'm listening to La Villa Strangiato from their Hemispheres album. It's an AMAZING song. Though I do love listening to their 20 minute epics such as 2112 or The Fountain of Lamneth.
