Grunan reaches a hand down to help Xander to his feet. "I am sorry about that. Guess a small headache was a bit of an understatement." Grunan tried to conceal a grin. If Xander had just gone to the hospital this would not be an issue.

"To be honest... I don't either", he said, "I just go on and say the stuff, I have in mind. Give them a couple of compliments and ask them a couple of questions and such", he added, slightly looking up at her.

"I'm not mad, if you are worried, because you look worried." she smiled politely. "But why flirt with me in the first place? Out of curiosity."

Kro arrived back at the treehouse, in record time. He noticed his wings were still as they had been in hell. Strange, really. Anyway, he landed gently on the balcony, and limped inside, reabsorbing all his smoke.
"Argh... This hurts. Dammit."

"Well... you're one of the only female friends, I have, and...", Ulvus said, blushing deeply again, "I... no, I shouldn't say it.", he finished.

[The Past]

The characters passed through the rock into a short brick tunnel, which lead into the main lobby area, with doors along the perimeter to the kitchen, training room, equipment/storage rooms, and library.

A number of people were around, most dressed in their magehunting robes. Their robes were mainly black with dark grey trim and designs; the apprentices had the reverse. All had a symbol like a Celtic knot somewhere on their outfits. They turned and watched curiously as Geoff brought Talia and Arcizo into the library.

The deer, Holden, was placing a book back on a shelf. He glanced back at the group. "Hey there, Geoff. Hope these are new recruits," he chuckled.

She smiled sadly, stirring the milkshake.


"You know, honesty will get you farther than anything else in this world, Ulvus." she looked up. "You can tell me."

[Kromas Ndorai]

Kro quickly checked on Vulki. Seeing that she was still alseep, he took off his jumper and put it down, with his mask. He limped over to the small kitchen area, found a medical kit, and sat down on the sofa. He began to disinfect and wrapchis leg, and patch over his stomach and chest. He winced, and grunted heavily. The one on his leg was very deep and was a pain to dis-infect.

"Goddamit.... I'm not gonna be moving properly for some time, I guess.."

Kro laid out on the sofa, wincing whenever he moved. He placed his gun and knife on the coffee table.

Xander looked confused and took Grunan's hand. He put a hand to his head as he was helped up. "Ow. You aren't sorry about that at all, liar." He grinned a little before pausing. "...So?"

Ulvus blushed even more, "I, uuh... I think, you're kinda cute", he finished, saying the last part quietly.

[Tina]

"Uh...no we need something translated. A human came to the apartments and put a stake through Kammy's heart. She's still alive but she won't talk to me except to tell me to look into her past." Talia says and Reyela is looking at everything with awe.

[Rho'Syn Ilwynog]

She smiled warmly and held out a paw in gesture.


"There you go, honesty. Thank you I appreciate that. You don't look too bad yourself." she took a sip.


"I think you are pretty cool, however we just met. I enjoy the flirtation, I kinda feed on it, but I wanted to give you the disclaimer that this train does't end at the stop you want it too. Only one individual can take me in a romantic way, and that is my mate. So, please, flirting is fun, but know there isn't a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow." she smiled sadly.

"Yeah, I found out, when you mentioned your mate earlier. That's why, I hesitated about saying... what I said. And I never really thought of the flirting as anything else than a little joke, but you just kept asking, so I kinda had to let go. Thank you for understanding, though, it means a lot to me", he said, feeling a bit better, looking slightly up at her.

[Angder]

Grunan grins openly. "You have not been eating, or drinking nearly enough, and I worked out why... you might be surprised to hear you have a young life growing inside you" Angder barely stops himself smirking Grunan also tries not to laugh. "Indeed, you have a wonderful new life growing right in your tummy."

Grunan pauses for about 5 seconds. then continues. "More specifically a parisitic worm. Sounds scary, but is dead easy to deal with." Grunan reaches into a cupboard, and passes Xander a strange potion. "Just drink this, it will kill the worm, and you will probably erm... expel it from your system. Which is good as it will also get rid of the eggs..." Grunan states. "Its scary, but now you know its there it should be nice and easy to deal with. Its a good thing you came to me though. If its eggs had hatched you would be in a lot more pain."

Grunan shakes his head. "Next time. Go to the hospital."
