Xander just smiled wider. "I can appreciate that." He returned to feasting on the soup. He was exceedingly grateful of the nice warm soup.

"Wow", Ulvus said, a little wide-eyed, "that's quiet a history. I must say, I really honour your choice of not killing if possible. I'm afraid to say, I don't fight the same way, though", he added, looking slightly down on the table.

The first few entries of Kammy's diary talk about her life before becoming a vampire. She lived in Transylvania during medieval times and was servant to for the family. One entry mentions a human nobleman coming to the castle on official bussiness, but the way Kammy describes him make it seem like she has crush on him.

 The next few entries after that are very cliche teenage girl fantasies about having a future with him and being his "princess". Until there's an entry about him coming into Kammy's to her room at night and telling her how he feels. His full name becomes known as Count Bradley Renault Rosarian, a vampire lord, and he literally flys Kammy to his castle where he offers her eternal life as his bride. Kammy accepts and the two come to love each other very deeply.

Bradley and Kammy get married and he gives her a blood red diamond ring. They eventually travel the world together and pick up friends along the way, one of which is known as paladin of Iomadae Sierra Greyguard. Kammy says a lot of things about how Sierra almost killed her with holy light, wishing Siera would be more careful around her.

The final two entries talk about a portal to hell being opened by a powerful necromancer named Callerel. There is a planned out raid and a lot of cocky words being thrown around. The last entry says they closed the portal...but only because Bradley threw himself and Callerel into hell. All the clerics say kammy goes to say he's dead, but she said she won't stop looking. One day she will save Bradley and they will be together forever.

"Honestly, I have no qualms about killing, but I see it as a challenge. If I can take someone down without killing them, when I do decide to kill again, they will go down that much faster."


She smiled. "I know my role someday will be to murder hundreds of thousands, but until then, I will practice abstinence in order to prove I can kill more effectively some day in the future."

"Alright then... Urh... Hey, Robot?"

The bot stood up attentively.

"Could you tidy up? If you don't mind."

The bot tilted, and set about tidying up.

Kro got up, and headed through into the bedroom. He looked at himself in the mirror. His cuts and scars made showed how he had changed, and how he had cracked.

"Why am I such a mess..."

"I admire your choice", he said, smiling. "When you have to kill those thousands, remember to shoot past me, ok?", he jokingly added, chuckling a bit.

Rolled over again, but ended up falling off the bed. "Ouch"

She winked.


"I think I'll recognize a devilish rogue like yourself." she said and finished off her shake, turning next to the fries.


"Mmmmm nice and soggy."

Kro turned quickly, and walked over to Vulki.

"You alright?"

He extender a hand down to her to help her up. It hurt him a lot in his leg and chest to do so.

Grunan just nods. "Just be glad you came when you did." Grunan opens one of the tomes by his bed, He still had a job to do. That meant more research for now.

"Heh, was that a compliment?", Ulvus asked, grinning, as he turned to his fries as well.

"I'm fine, as long as you are. Don't worry about me."
He quickly looked over to the bot, which was busying away tidying up the front room.

[The Past]

Holden mumbled the important parts of the diary aloud, and thought for a long moment at the end.
"Oh... I think I know what happened," Holden said, looking up at Talia. "That human was her husband, but he was under the control of the necromancer."
