Blinded In Chains

"She let me do things that my father wouldn't. He was a little strict." She sighs. "At least, that's what I can remember.." She mutters, shrugging slightly.

Zephyr nodded. "I see. So... I take it that someone killed her?"

She snaps the box closed and clenched her free hand away from Atticus so as not to hurt him. She grinds her teeth and a low hiss escapes her. "You can take a guess." She manages to growl from her clenched teeth.

Zephyr looked at the stake in his hand. "Hmm... let me think... the same guy who put this thing through my shoulder?"

Calming herself down, she nods. "He killed her because she was a vampire. Don't mix up the fact of my vampirism and hers. She was changed into one after the fact that she was in a terrible accident. She kept it secret from my father for the longest until he found out ten years later." She explains.

Atticus looked into the box and closed his eyes," I'm sorry for your loss..." He looked down at her hand and held her closer to him and he stood on his own and smiled," I'm m-much better... thanks... So I got a question... Since my house is still up... We all go back, and figure out what out next plan is." He looked at everyone for confirmation.

"Thanks.. But i know she's better off wherever she is now." She nods, then glances over to the albino wolf. "Come with us. It seems as if you don't have a place to stay." She says with a light smile. All most immediately, his ears and tail perk up.

"That would be great! If you wouldn't mind?" He directs the last question to Atticus, with a slight drop of his posture.

Zephyr bowed his head. "I am sorry," he said. "May she forever rest in peace... which she probably will, since despite common belief, vampires can go to heaven." He nods at the wolf. "I'm fine with him coming. We could always use an extra hand."

She offers a smile to Zephyr, shaking her head a little. "I know." She whispers. The albino wolf smiles widely, a small squeak escaping from him.

"Please?" He say, giving puppy dog eyes to Atticus.

Atticus smiled and looked at him,"I don't see why you need my permission, but yeah, i'm fine with it." he grinned and looked down at kitane and closed his eyes, sighing," this is gonna be one hell of a fight ahead of us..."

He squeaks again, jumping at Atticus and hugging him. "Thank you!" He murrs. This draws a raised eyebrow from Kitane, and she laughs a little.

"Looks like it." She sighs, putting the box in one of the many cargo pockets.

[Lokyar Brightmane]

Lokyar opened his eyes and looked around. He saw all the people he was usually with, excepting Atticus. What he did see was Atticus's body with a white wolf as a head. Lokyar stood up hurriedly, and fell back down as the world span.

"A-Atticus? You ok?" he said, dazedly.

Warren appeared as if out of nowhere, slightly blooded and brandishing a long red curved dagger and a face of exhaustion.
"Damn guards" he said panting
"I got lost looking for you all"

Zephyr smiled at the sight of the wolf hugging Atticus. "Do you have a name?" he asked the wolf.

He looks at Zephyr and nods. "Imroth Cillax." He grinned.
