a place and meeting

ok i need some advice on how to tell a friend that i cant go to a LGBT meeting or to an area in my town that is manly for people like that. i little background in fo here

i meet a friend on ontario furries and hes bi but has a male pref . he saw my profile, on my on  it and it says iam bi but i like girls more. he has ask me to go to an LGBT and to go to the village ( the place in my city where its mainly for people who are like that ) . i told him i cant go my parents think iam str8 and i dont want them to ever know and i told him this. i i don't want to lose my friend ( even though hes kind of a pervert ). what can i tell him so we wont lose the friend ship but he can stop asking me to go.

I'm pretty sure he understands that you don't want anyone to find out. Plus it's just a meeting, I don't think he'll stop being your friend because you don't want to go.

thanks the meeting is at his collage campaus ( its down the street from mine) and " the village" if its the place iam thinking of its down town... had to go through it a few times to get to my doctor because another part of down town was under construction.

Sorry to say it Icy, but at some point you're going to have to go out...
However, I dont get why straight people cant hang out with bi or gay people?
Why dont you just tell your parents you're going to keep a friend happy?

i can say that and i didnt say i was str8 i said i was bi but liked girls more. and for the recored with friend  and my pups ( when i get have them ) i dont care about your gender age religion/beliefs , orientation, skin color. the way i see it where all the same regardless of our physical body, i have a friend who ive know fro years whos str8 and one thats bi so i don't have a problem with it. they just dont accept it with me. and they would ask question about what iam going to do there if i say its something else . if the other place he wants to go to is  down town they might think it might have to do with drugs because i meet him on the internet....

I know you're bi.. I'm just saying that no one, even your parents can see a problem with a straight person hanging out with bi or gay people..  would they really automatically assume you're bi or gay simply because of who you hang out with or where you go?

The dont have to know you met him on the net! ..  And if it doesnt have anything to do with drugs, then you're not lying and you have nothing to hide...

I understand the fear of people, especially family finding out you're bi.. when my parents found out i was, they screamed at me for 3 hours...  but, no offence, it seems like youre not doing things or going places incase they guess...  They probrably wont guess, and they'll more than likely believe you when you say you're straight to them...  To be honest, you prefer girls, so they're not likely to find out ...

thanks. yeah  your making sense. well my mom asked me who he was ,where i was meeting him, how old he was, how i meet his ,  ect.... my dad just asked me what was his name if i knew what he looked like how old he was and if i was meeting in a public place,   my dad was cool with it because i was meeting him at a star bucks so it would be hard to bug drugs there.... but this is not about drugs , i do do dugs so no worries there.  so when i say iam going down town with him they might( most likely will)  get suspicious of whats iam doing there.

My parents stopped being able to ask me where i was going and what i was doing when i turned 16!
You need to stand up for yourself a bit more...
Yeah, tell them you're off out with a friend, maybe tell them what time you'll be back..
But nothing else is really their business is it?

  Don't worry about what your parents think if you hangout with him, if anything just say it straight as possible  that he's your friend and you're hangingout for the day, then go have fun. And so long as your not doing anything crazy in public nobody will know anything.

thanks, he hugged me and i hugged him in public before we left it was a friendly hugs so i dont see any thing wrong with that
