Thantos sighed, hoping he could fly with armor... but knowing that was impossible for him to carry her, his armor, and himself all on a pair of wings that he rarely used. When the time for Melanie's trial, something caused the sky to get a sickening tinge of purple-red, and before I could realize what was going on, the Ringmaster was struck by a bolt from the sky. I didn't know any healing magic, so the best I could do was stop the shock from doing more damage, so a got on top and acted as a grounding device. Thats the day I lost my sight and hearing... but gained something else to compensate. Anyway, she had a dark look in her eyes, but not as dangerous as the one she has now. She walked over to Melanie, grabbed her by the he- Purple electricity suddenly shot out of Thantos' head, and he roared in pain as he felt his connection to Cindy be forced shut. If you stop telling her what happened I'll restore your eyes and ears. How does that sound, my love? Thantos looked up at Cindy, and could only mouth 'Run' before he coughed up blood and struggled to stay consious.
(In case you're still confused, Thantos just had the connection from his brain to his muscles short-circuited by the Ringmaster, hes stuck like that for a couple moments. Yes, this is quite painful to experience, which is why its hard to not black out.)
