Well there are some good like the 'the last of us' and 'mass effect'
and even more games with tons of potential but that just never do it right, like 'Brink' and 'DayZ standalone'
and then you have the games that are amazingly good, there is gonna be a game called 'Starcitizen' and the way they are doing that is AMAZING, it's purely community funded and it's an awesome concept. (search it up!)
But the games like 'call of duty' and 'Battlefield' are games that just do the same thing over and over and over again, just with 3 new features and I hate that.

@Thal: It's not -only- DK64, it's the original DK within DK64, and it had to be completed twice with was it one or no continues ;__;

I think a lot of developers never learned anything about what good storytelling is or what incentives you should bring to the table.
