The last of the blood was cleaned off her paws and she licked her lips slowly, she stretched and sighed, pacing in circles.

Melanie lost sight of everything that was around her in her mind, the only thing that filled it was the smell of the blood.

Shai slumped down in the same shadow of the gargoyle Lucian stood under and she sighed. she'd never fed so well. She lengthened her dress and then shifted back into her feral form, curling up in the dark.

Melanie looked over at Shai. The question could be plainly seen in her eyes. "Is it safe?"

*Shai gleamed back at Melanie and smiled. Yes.... It is safe.

Melanie nodded and walked into the trees following the scent of blood and soon came across the dead mob.

She thought again to Melanie Leave the dazed ones alive for Shard....

Melanie nodded and skitteishly walked around the ones in the trance and drank her fill and went back to the group, slumping down beisde Shai.

Shai's paw rested on Melanie's neck and Shai then lifted her body only to curl up again to wait for the rest of the group.

Melanie sighed, closing her eyes and curling against Shai.

Shai smiled down at Melanie and her own tail started drawing on her thigh, tracing the stripes on her leg. She sighed and looked up at the tree's. As she saw Lucian emerge from the shrubs and ferns a light wave of happieness surged through her body. Shaikera looked back down at her feet and frowned a little. Why does he make me feel like this...

"Where are we going Shai?" Melanie asked suddenly, looking up at the tigeress.

Shai's train of thought altered itself and she looked back at the fox "you'll see young one," she looked back at Lucian and smiled "You'll see"

Melanie looked back up at Shai and buried her head into Shai's fur. "Shai? How did you become a vampire?"

Shai stiffened and didn't move... "I... I was a siren before, that was my only occupation... a man came to me... he was a Jackal... He took extreme advantage of me, and bit my neck, arm, thigh and the back of my neck too... I blacked out after that, and only god knows how long. He killed my family, friends anyone who could or would try to help me. He tried to kill me before evidence was placed against him.. but i was awake then, i woke up and was stronger than he thought... I killed his family, his friends, and lastly, him. I was stronger than him and used my siren ability to seduce him, put him under a transe... but after that... I decided just to rip his body apart out of anger... The blood lust after this was never greater." Shai  relaxed a little and tears fell slowly down her cheek fur and she looked down at Melanie and smiled a little.
