It is 1888 in London, and the poor lead horrifying lives in the city's deadliest slum, Whitechapel. Harassed by gangs and forced to work the streets for a living, three girls and their older sister wonder throught out the city look for somthing to feast on. as the sisters wondered, Sarina the older sister looked around and say all of her people starving and falling ill, she heard the crys for help,the women morning for the chilldren and husband that have pasted of starvation. Sarina turns her head and see an older man,tourn up clothing and filthy skin, eatting one of their one for food. she turns away quickly, as she walks shes looking down at her little sisters and smiles telling them its going to be ok. until this man bumbs into her and grabs sarina by the the shoulder and says "THE BOOOK, THE BOOOK, the book, which provides knowledge that could redeem society, and the source of all our pain." sarian looked at him he grined and said " you my child of the night, you must find it, yessss, and there are others that will join you," sairna looks at him "others?" the old man stares into the moon and says "yess, they will find you."

i slowly turn my head toward the young wolf, my voices softens, her Nerves loosen up a bit "well like i said to Lucian.....your more then welcome to join, but i still have no clue-"
the old man stops me and grabs me by the shoulders, his face in mine. his teeth were jagged and going in all direction, his breath was-was unexplainable horrible "myyy deearr, myy deeearr small minded child, look around you, all is death an misery of your kind. seek the BOOK!!" his long nails dig into her back as he gets closer to my face slowly.
i disgusted and sick to my stomach, smelling that breath of his. as his nails go into i try yo pull away.

A black and white paw emerged from behind a door, a door that lead to no-where and a white and black tigress emerged from utter darkness, the door disappearing into a black mist, trailing into a white light. The tigress began to speak, "Shaikera is the name, i'm here to join you i s'pose, and i-..." Shaikera trailed off as her eyes gleamed at Lucian and she snuffed around him. "A fellow Big Cat i see..." Her body gently brushing past his and her tail holding up his chin and flicking off. Her fur danced in a breeze and she sat down looking at the group of pups. She looked back at the others and bared her white teeth at them, her tongue licking the top row of dagger tip teeth. "What's there to eat?..."

A shape darted down the alley, looking around wildly through the gloom; shouts booming from the mists behind her. She continued at run, blood dripping from her maws. As she neared the end of the alley her foot got caught on a uprasied bit of stone and was sent sprawling to the ground. She looked up to see a group in front of her, a wolf with pups, a black cat, another wolf and a white tiger...

Her eyes slowly looking to the side, her head turning to the side and looking at the Fox. Shaikera stood up and circled the new member of the group, eyeing her off and smelling the blood that dripped. Shaikera's eyes turned into slits, and what was blue was now black, her fur stood on end. "W...what's that dripping from your paws, friend?..." The tigress growled and smiled widely at the fox, her black eyes like deep black pearls, piercing into the Fox's soul.

Melanie backed away from the tigeress, holding her paws behind her back.
"Friend? I think not!" The fox snarled.

In a deep and soft honey sweet voice the tigress spoke "Let us see those dainty paws of yours.... They look awefully dirty..." She smiled softly, as if a loving mother, and reached out a paw to Melanie. Shaikera transformed into anthro, long wavey black and white hair, purple strapless dress leading all the way to her ankles, her lips deep red and her eyes now a light blue and A golden band of jewelery strapped over her forearm. "We don't want dirty, do we?" She inquired.

Melanie licked the blood off from around her lips and shifted to antho, she had snow white hair running down her back and was wearing black pants and a white top. Her fox ears were pressed flat to her head as she stared at Shanikera with her deep blue eyes.

Shaikera heard the thought and whispered under her breath. So er ist Deutsch... Shaikera smiled. Interesting She turned her thoughts over to the new comer and whispered. "do you know how to hide your energy?..." she glanced at Melanie and back at Shard. "not all of us are blood drinkers..." Shai, licked her lips and smelt the air. Her head snapped to a wall and her claws emerged sharply and quickly from underneath her furry fingers, one larger than the rest she ripped through a wall with her claw, outside a family of squirrels. Her teeth elongated and she turned to the group sharply, her dress shortening and her body going into a feral transition. "Dinner time, friends..." her black pearl eyes, gleamed crimson as she jumped out the hole.

"Ok." Melanies ears flicked as she heard thudding footsteps from the alley which she had just come from. "Oh no! Their after me!" Melanie jumped behind Shaikera's legs shifting to feral and curled into a tight ball. A minute or so later some street guards emerged from the alley.

Shai's tail flicked as she saw the guards, she tried her best to stop the bloodthirst in her, changing her eyes back to an icey piercing blue. She transformed back into anthro and stepped outside, in front of the guards, adn stood there, in her long and elegant dress, which blew in the breeze. She just stared at the guards, a sparkle in her eyes.

One guard stammered and the other guard stepped in. "Excuse me Miss but have you seen a anthro arctic fox around here by any chance?"

Shai's rose red lips opened, and out came a sweet smooth and soft song of a siren, as she sung, she circled the guards who looked at her hungrily, their desires beginning to show. One of them stepped forward and knelt at Shai's feet, the other slowly following the first. The sounds from her lips, still sweet, grew stronger and she had the guards wrapped around her finger. They followed her behind brick walls and moaning was heard, groans turning into shouts and yells of pain. The noises ceased a few minutes later, and from around the corner came Shai, a crimson colour dripping from the side of her mouth and down her chin. She picked up the fox and pulled up her sleeves back into her shoulders, looking satisfied. "No need to worry about them anymore" she said bluntly, placing the arctic fox on the ground beside her. Shai's head tilted back and sighed, her eyes now a clear crisp icey blue, as she licked her teeth slowly, and the sides of her mouth. Her tail flicking slowly as she fixed her dress, as if it was off and hurridly put back on. "Much better..." She looked at the group, eyeing them all off, as if to say "you ask, you're dead."

now if you're quite finished miss Shai, we have a lot of ground to cover, and well i hate to wait around *signaling to the group that he was going to get goining at a better pace then what they were already moving, Shard then takes off*

She grumbled and lept to her feet, her tail flicking in annoyance. She sighed and begun a feral transition walking towards Lucian. She reached him and stopped. "may i walk with you?" She smiled deviously and licked her teeth again. A bit of blood on her paw, she held that paw to Lucian's cheek and stared.... "how strong are you..."

Melanie stared wide eyed at Shai and trotted after her. 'She...she saved me....'
The fox looked down at her paws as the sound of something cracking and lifted her small dainty paw off the object and picked the necklace up.
"Oh no." She whispered. "It came off when I fell..."
The sapphire had broken in half, a long crack running down its deep blue surface, cutting perfectly through the snowflake inscribed upon it. A tear fell from Melanie's eye. 'I'm sorry mother.'
She hastily wiped the tear away, not wanting to look weak in front of the others and reattached the necklace around her neck and went and sat by the tigress's feet.

Shai looked back down at the fox and smiled, her cold nature seemingly weakening. Shaikera cleared her throat and breathed in deeply, shivering as she exhaled as she could still feel the Guards around her, she could taste their blood still. She growled and hissed at this feeling and crouched down.

"Thank you for saving me ...ummm?" Melanie looked at the tiger questionaly.

Now the bloodlust reached Lucian. "Oh goody.... DInner is served" he said as he snuck behind the wall and drained one if the remaining guards cowering in the corner of the alley. He filled a few vials and turned after the others shifting to his smokey form.

"Shaikera, or Shai...." answering the fox's questionaiire face. Shai flicked her head to the front of her and sighed, she hummed loudly, her siren song and watched Shard and Lucian's faces, Shai smiled to herself and quietned down as she saw Lucian come closer to the group.

Shai smiled down at the fox and looked back at Lucian. "I am, indeed. Das fatherland... I was banished, I," Shai flicked her tail and smiled, pleased with herself " i preyed on too many homeless people. Thing is they all begged me too. They were never alive for my trials"

Melanie as she heard this shuddered and whimpered, burying her face into Shai's fur.

"Fear not young one. It is our custom to not hurt those we are travelling with. As it turns out I was banished as well for sympathizing with the English and Russians" lucian said to Melanie seeing her fear

Shai's tail rested around Melanie's back. "Da why your so....ehh... fluent with English?" Questioning Lucian.

Melanie swallowed and looked up into Lucain's face. "I-I can't stand it!" She wailed, placing her paws on her head. "I'm a nightstalker too! I-I-" Melanie broke off into sobs.

Walking over to Melanie lucian pulls out one of his vials and sighs, "I was planning to save this for later but you need it now. Drink it and you will be more comfortable. Refuse and you will experience agony from the thirst. You will not die but it will burn until you finally succumb to the drink. I suggest you save yourself the trouble" he held out the vial and his eyes changed from their usually bright red to a warm caramel color, useful for reassuring newborns.

Shai shifted her eyes to the Vile, she swallowed and looked at the fox. She took the vile in one paw and handed the open bottle to melanie. "here... melanie." Shai placed the vile into Melanie's paws and watched her drink. She shifted herself into anthro , her dress slipping in some area's, her hair covering them again.

Melanie handed the vile back to Lucian, smiling slightly. "Thank you...uhmm...sorry, whats your name?" Her eyes widened from something she had heard before and turned to Shai. "How..how did you know my name?" She asked, slightly scared.

Shai did not answer, but merely smiled and pulled Melanie onto her back. Shai's tail flicked and then trailed along Lucian's body and flicked off his chin once more. "See you 'round, Mein fellow Deutsch freund." She looked back teasingly at Lucian and then ahead to the group and back at Melanie. "Keep tight up there..." Shai bounded for a nearby tree, a willow. She circled it and two of her claws extended from her paws, and she scratched the tree. As if to mark her territory or her way home. These two cuts in the tree ran deep into its surface, forming a ring around it. Shai Rubbed her body against the willow, all over, leaving her sweet scent behind, one you could not smell unless she rubbed up against something, Because Shai smelt like every man's desire, every single thing that intrigues a man. No women could smell her, she was a man's dream. "that should get us some food later if we pass here again...." Shai hung her head, ashamed of what she was, but forced a smile for Melanie.

Melanie curled up on Shai's back her fluffy tail covering her face slightly and she looked at Shard and then back at Shai. "Shai. I must ask. Whats going on?"

"haha, sorry, i can't help, i'm only following and hunting on this expedition, mein little Melanie" She kept a steady pace and moved on, passing Lucian and Shard, she lept up onto a box and curled around it, above the others. She looked down at them and curled her tail around melanie. Shai felt protective of Mel. and she soothed her to sleep by humming a lulluby in her siren sweet song. Shai's voice was warm and soothing as she sung, she watched Melanie fall to sleep and the others start to nod. She only wished it worked on her.

Hearing her thought, Lucian turned and looked at her. Penetrating deep into her soul with his eyes and lulling her to sleep as she sang.

Shai sunk into her thoughts, her eyes got heavy. Before she fell to the deep abyss of unconsiousnes she jumps off her block and slid her body next to Lucian, she huddled tight to him and melanie, who rested in her paws. she fell weary. "Gootenabend...Lucian..." She fell to sleep.

Lucian whispered "guten avens" and when all were fast asleep he went to the nearest tell building and scaled it. "this seems like a nice group. Almost like my own family before my transformation. Unfortunately when I was changed, my ability to become attached was taken too. The good part, siren songs and other forms of pseudo attachment don't work. The bad news, I cannot truly have friends or a family." Lucian saw day breaking and decided to seek shelter instead of being immolated by the rays of the sun. So he went back to where he left his group.

Shai woke up again as soon as Lucian had left. She got up and walzted over to where he stood "the effect is temporary, deary" She smiled and sat by him.

"eh... much too my disappointment all of it" Shai forced a half smile at Lucian. She flicked her tail and it brushed against his. "But who says you can't have friends or family?".... "bloodthirsty beasts are loving too yah know." She chuckled to herself and changed into her anthro form, her dress beginning to sparkle in the sunlight, she stretched and looked up at Lucian's face.

Shai lept to her feet and crouched into a pouncing position. Her tail flicked slowly and she flexed her shoulders, soon she pounced onto Lucian knocking him to the ground playfully. She licked his cheek. "it isnt an ability to feel love or compassion, it's a feeling one always has. They just choose not to recognise it's there." She got off lucian and purred happily, and playfully.

Melanie huddled against the box, having just woken up from a nap watching Shai and Lucian and thought to herself. She mentioned something about an expedition...what use would I be on one of those? Not much at all, I'd only slow the group down. They wouldn't want a useless nobody tagging along with them that cant be any help. Maybe I should get back 'home' She snorted at that. That place has never been my home... With that she drifted back to sleep.

Shai looked happily at Lucian, the happiest she'd felt in a long...long time. Her head leaned down to his chest and her ears flicked as she heard his heartbeat. Shai placed a paw on Lucian's chest, on his heart and she closed her eyes tightly, exploring his emotional past.

The arctic fox twisted and turned as she slept...
Melanie ran down the dark alley away from the figure that followed her.
"Melanie I am your father and I order you to get back here."
"No!" Melanie cried. "Leave me be!"
Then a large figure swooped down from the sky, blocking the foxes way.
"Come now Melanie my dear." Said the eagle. "Its getting cold out, lets go home..."
"You are not my mother so you cant tell me what to do!" Melanie snarled.
The eagle's eyes flashed in anger and she grabbed the fox in her talons...
The dream changed.
Melanie jumped around wildly, trying to avoid being crushed by the stampeding caribou's hooves. Tears streamed down her face as she saw flashes of her arctic fox parents being slowly trampled to death through the caribou's legs. "Mother! Father!" A hoove clipped Melanie on the head and another crushed her left back paw and there was a sudden cry. Melanie looked up to see a pair of orange eyes and a pair of talons reach down and grab her...
Melanie jumped awake, hitting her head on the box. "Ow!" She rubbed her head with her paw and then rested her head under her tail, her paw placed over the necklace which her mother had given to her before she had died. Melanie drifted off again into hopefully a more uneventful sleep.

Shai lifted her paw and her head and stared into Lucian's eyes with her icey, piercing , "innocent" eyes and she smiled. She rubbed her body along his again. "your heart is more pure than you think, mein freund." She said, smiling as she prouled around away from Lucian and headed back to the group. She slowly rimmed her body around the edges of the shadows in the sunlight. She went back to the group and sat beside Melanie, taking the neckalace from her paws and examined the broken stone. "this is an easy fix..." Shai slipped the neckalace into a pouch of deer skin she kept. She hoped Melanie would not notice its disappearance for a while. she smiled and her tail gently stroked Melanie's cheek, whispering "sleep tight."

*Shard staying to the shadows as he vetured away from the group, as he went down a dark ally a bum got up and held knife to his throat*

*having finished the negitive he starts in on the rest* Oui, but you look so tiered, you should probably just take a rest, you've had a hard day
"yea I 'ave 'avent I?"
* the bum slowly loses counsisness, till he hasent enough energy to make his heart beat once more, Shard leans over and picks up the knife* rather shotty build * he tosses it away and walks back twords where the group is*

Shai looked at the Bum. "Hmm..." then she looked at Lucian, and back down at some viles. She grinned and picked them up, and filled them for Lucian for later, and anyone else who needed it. She felt not hungry herself so she left the body happily and returned to the group, the viles in her Deer skin pouch.

Inally able to get away from the group, lucian took out a small photograph. It was his old family. Before his exile and turning. A single tear fell from his eyes, now reverting to their original blue-green-hazel. Hearing someone approach he put the photo up and reverted to his cold self.

Shai smiled and sat beside Lucian. "Hi... i got you something..." She pulled out her deer skin pouch and snuffled through it. She moved closer to Lucian with her paws clenched and she reached out for his hand.

Hoping the siren didn't notice his paws shake he held one out. "thank you mein Frau"

Shai smiled and took his hand gently in hers and she helped him up. "I got this for you..." she held out her outstretched paw and handed him 3 large viles of crimson coloured blood. Once she handed him the viles her hand moved to his forehead and she stroked it gently. "I know it hurts..." and she turned and left to hand Melanie some of the drink.

Shai thought back. Your past... all our past does is hurt, in a good or bad way... I knew you weren't all cold, from the moment my eyes set onto yours. She flicked her tail and sat by Melanie. She placed her paw on Melanie's and when she lifted it, the neckalace that broke was made new again. Shai looked quietly and warmly back at Lucian and smiled.

This is true. But I must give a cold appearance. I cannot stop searching for them. I don't know if they are even alive or abything. I cannot allow myself to become too involved with others.

I have no family, i'm a lonely soul. Never had one. I wish you luck Lucian. A build of tears began in Shai's eyes and she turned her head away from Lucian and the first tear dripped onto Melanie's fur. And in a whisper she said "You're the only one i have little guy..." Her tail softly ran through Melanie's fur and Shai looked back up at Lucian.

Feelsing compassion Lucian took shai's head in his paw and stared into her eyes. His began to change to the blue green. "Would you like to accompany me on my journey? We might get back to the fatherland. Plus you remind me of someone I know."

Her eyes changing themselves, to a light purple. She gleamed at him and nuzzled into his paw. "i...I would be more than happy if you'll have me." Shai looked down at Melanie and picked up the sleeping fox. "can you stand a third?...i don't feel it's right to leave her..." She smiled softly at the little fox and another tear dropped into the fur on her tail. Shai looked up at Lucian and smiled hopefully.

Of course I could stand a third. She needs to learn our way of life and I think our teaching will be more beneficial to her than learning on her own"

Shaikera smiled warmly at the two and placed the sleeping fox on her back as she stood up. She smelt the air and sighed as she felt the cool breeze tug on her fur. The sun began to set and she took her first step into the orange and purple glow that resonated against the ground. Shai blinked slowly and smiled to herself. "Thankyou" she said without looking up.

"Um where do you think you are going? She isn't diluted with any other blood. Sue will burn like I will in the sun. And we have to help with the other journey as well."

"I've taken care of this one." Shai held up the fox gently and on the side of her thigh a little black dot remained. Just as Shai had on her thigh. "these are permanent, and they allow us sunlight, and i'm not going anywhere." Shai sat down and curled her tail around Melanie. "I could give you one if you'd like."

"It always stands." Shai, showing her soft natured side, began rocking back and forth gently, trying to keep the Fox asleep as long as possible. She looked up at the sky and saw the first star. Beside her a small blak and white smoke swirled and a cushion appeared, Shai lay the fox ontop of it and got up from her side. She walked towards Lucian and held his tail in hers.

You are awfully flirtatious fräulein. May i ask why?" Lucian inquired as he walked towards the shadow of a gargoyle.

Shai grinned. "I'm a siren, it's in my nature... to you i do not know why, so much..." She trailed off as her ears flicked and her eyes narrowed as she jumped up and faced the opposite direction to the group.

Lucian turned and immediately took a strinking pose ready for a fight.

Shai only looked back and whispered. "Mobs..." She grinned and focused her mind on Melanie, transporting her to the group. After that she prouled forwards and hid in the bushes.

Melanie started awake and looked around wildly, her ears picking up a sound in the distance. "Huh? Whats going on? S..Shai? Where are you?" Melanie trailed off as her paw brushed against her necklace and she looked down and gasped as she saw that it was fixed. "But...but how?"

Shai smelt the air, gasoleine and fire filled it. She closed her eyes and heard the shouts, all men. Shai looked on edge at Lucian and the group, she then thought to Lucian and Melanie. They're men.... i can handle this on my own.... it's in my nature She chuckled a little It'll be a piece of cake, you two get everyone else out. Shaikera shifted into anthro and her dress shortened by far, not off from the top of her thighs. It became black, not purple and it sparkled in the sunset. And Melanie... Shai paused and looked back at them, Melanie in particular. Try not to break it this time.

Shai stood in the middle of the diirt road and lowered her body into a sitting position, as if to meditate. She also felt the screech of the eagle. Shai sent her black and white fog to engulf little Melanie. I don't want you to see what i have to do, before i can slaughter or defend. Please stay there. The fog also hovered above the place where the group was. Un-allowing of the eagles tresspass. Shai looked back at Lucian with tears swelling around in her eyes and she got up and walked slowly around the corner.

There was a flutter of wings from overhead as the eagle flew over the spot where they were, its orange eyes passed over the mist, it then turned and flew off to the north and the sound of the mob grew closer.

Shai leaned herself against an oak. her fur fluffed up and she let off an entransing scent as the first of the men, who carried pitch forkes and flame. They slowed down and approached her slowly and Shai breathed in deeply, the smell of their blood filling her nose.

Melanie brushed quickly past Shai and up the tree, staring down at the mob.

Melanie.... MELANIE!!! get out of here, you'll muddle things up!! Shai looked on edge as the leader of the mob reached out for her paw, his rough fur felt horrid on her smooth fluffy fur. All the men in the small mob drooled at her lightly, unblinking. Shai pulled her hand away and walked further away from the group.

Don't worry Shai Melanie smiled back down at her, the sapphire gleamed and Melanie's form shifted into a snow leopard.

No Melanie! GO BACK! Shai shouted telapathically. She got distracted by Melanie's whispers throughout her mind and some of the male foxes and Wolves grabbed Shai around the waist and she struggled, but selling it, slipped out of their grasp once more and walked deeper into the woods, the rest of the mob of Canids following them and her.

Melanie walked to the edge of the branch snarling furiously, preparing to jump into the mob and thought viciously. GET YOUR FILTHY PAWS OFF HER!

Melanie, i mean it... go her thought voice sounding pleading for the young child. SHai's tail flicked and she disappeared into shrubs and ferns, the mob following her.

But Shai! I want to help! Melanie protested but she listened to Shai and ran back down the tree to the group.

Shai smiled to herself and the mob began to advance on her. She felt in power again without the young eyes upon her. Shai began to sing and lead the mob yet, deeper into the woods and she hummed her song.

Melanie shifted back into herself as an arctic fox and curled by Shard's feet, anxiously waiting for Shai to return.

Shaikera lead the men to the middle of the forestry. She felt disgusted as she let the Canid men take over her body. The moans coming from some, ended abruptly as she bit them deep and hard on the neck and she bled them to death. The other men un-noticed still in a transe from her song, she ran around the mob and her claws, crimson red now, planted themselves into their necks. Shaikera growled ferociously and released her anger on the mob. A dress reforming around her as she stood and breathed deeply for a moment. As all the men were in the clearing she unleashed herself, attacking at high speeds and she broke most of their necks. She had left 3 alive and in a trance as she quickly ran back to the group. "Anyone hungry? there is a huge feast in the middle of the forst for everyone" Shai said as she straightened her dress hastily in front of Lucian. Blood dripped from her paws and lips and she licked it off slowly as she sat down in a corner, hiding herself from the rest of the group.

Melanie looked up at the sound of Shai's voice, hoping that she hadn't gotten hurt. But before she could think of anything else the smell of blood hit her and she growled slightly.

Shai mumbles and licked her finger like paws clean, falling backwards and sighing. SHe turned her head to the rest of the group and smiled*

Melanie stood up looking toward the trees, her pupils changing to slits, her claws retracting in and out.

The last of the blood was cleaned off her paws and she licked her lips slowly, she stretched and sighed, pacing in circles.

Melanie lost sight of everything that was around her in her mind, the only thing that filled it was the smell of the blood.

Shai slumped down in the same shadow of the gargoyle Lucian stood under and she sighed. she'd never fed so well. She lengthened her dress and then shifted back into her feral form, curling up in the dark.

Melanie looked over at Shai. The question could be plainly seen in her eyes. "Is it safe?"

*Shai gleamed back at Melanie and smiled. Yes.... It is safe.

Melanie nodded and walked into the trees following the scent of blood and soon came across the dead mob.

She thought again to Melanie Leave the dazed ones alive for Shard....

Melanie nodded and skitteishly walked around the ones in the trance and drank her fill and went back to the group, slumping down beisde Shai.

Shai's paw rested on Melanie's neck and Shai then lifted her body only to curl up again to wait for the rest of the group.

Melanie sighed, closing her eyes and curling against Shai.

Shai smiled down at Melanie and her own tail started drawing on her thigh, tracing the stripes on her leg. She sighed and looked up at the tree's. As she saw Lucian emerge from the shrubs and ferns a light wave of happieness surged through her body. Shaikera looked back down at her feet and frowned a little. Why does he make me feel like this...

"Where are we going Shai?" Melanie asked suddenly, looking up at the tigeress.

Shai's train of thought altered itself and she looked back at the fox "you'll see young one," she looked back at Lucian and smiled "You'll see"

Melanie looked back up at Shai and buried her head into Shai's fur. "Shai? How did you become a vampire?"

Shai stiffened and didn't move... "I... I was a siren before, that was my only occupation... a man came to me... he was a Jackal... He took extreme advantage of me, and bit my neck, arm, thigh and the back of my neck too... I blacked out after that, and only god knows how long. He killed my family, friends anyone who could or would try to help me. He tried to kill me before evidence was placed against him.. but i was awake then, i woke up and was stronger than he thought... I killed his family, his friends, and lastly, him. I was stronger than him and used my siren ability to seduce him, put him under a transe... but after that... I decided just to rip his body apart out of anger... The blood lust after this was never greater." Shai relaxed a little and tears fell slowly down her cheek fur and she looked down at Melanie and smiled a little.

Melanie shuddered and looked back up at Shai, her eyes swimming with tears "Oh Shai." she whispered. The arctic fox sat up on her back legs and wiped the tears off Shai's cheeks. Melanie then glanced down at her necklace, she stood and curled up between the tigeress's paws. The fox quickly swished her tail foward to cover her mangled back left paw and rested her head on her tail.

Shai sat there almost lifelessly staring into space, her paw only moving a little to stroke through melanie's fur and she sighed softly, beginning to look out into the distance. Her eyes wandered to all of the group.
