I liked Fallout 3 because it felt  less empty, like there was more to explore.
Fallout NV felt more refined and I loved the weapon modding though.

I actually liked New Vegas better personally, well new vegas WITH the DLC's. I just love the characters of Ceasar, Joshua Graham, Mr. House and of course Ulysses.

Also the questions is, who would win NCR or The Legion?

The answer is probably the NCR because the Legion are outnumbered, lack discipline and primarily focus on close-combat and lack strategy.

I have let the Decanus escape after a long series of diplomatic speeches in the last battle, it was worth the extra ending events.
Also doing all the side quest stuff and seeing the last battle results were also exciting.
