Well, if deer ended up being the next virus...killing them wouldn't stop it really...people eat the meat and even though being cooked should kill bacteria, some will probably still stay alive...
It's going to be the cute little animals that everyone trusts easily (like the bunnies!)... >_>
I need a surgical mask! <_<

Okay, from my understanding in South Carolina, some kids went down to FL for their senior trip and came back with 12 cases at a public school in Mauldin.. (Which is awfully close to where I live.) And also there are some cases in Newberry. I don't know if it is in FL, but I feel it's relevant. That school in Mauldin is closed down for now, and my school's been getting circulars that emphasize washing hands to prevent disease. People here are panicked, and there are idiots running around with medical masks and rubber gloves on in school.

His remarks Wednesday came the same day Texas authorities announced that a nearly 2-year-old boy with the virus had died in a Houston hospital Monday.

"Any time someone dies, it's heartbreaking for their families and friends," Olsen said. "But we do need to keep this in perspective."

It hasn't hit us yet, but they had a case about 30 or so miles away.  Our school has restricted all school related student travel through May 11.  Thankfully, that doesn't interfere with any of the trips I'm going on.  Yet.

Yesterdays news said that there has been 2 possible infections in Finland(I wonder how it got to this backwoods country....)

Yes, Mexico is the source of the Disease. A boy came over to visit family and died. He had a severe case. No one has died in the U.S. yet because all of the cases have been mild. Mexico city is like a third world because of all the poverty.
