I appologize to you Vosur if I'm oversteping my bounds, I'm just trying to help, but Sardoc, why would a citizen randomly carry around the weapons your character does Sardoc, and to you Shattered, why would a citizen randomly walk around with sheilds on her arms?

Well, since Mavericks have been plauging human(and now fur)-kind, you have to consider that people have armed themselves to defend themselves. Maverick Hunters can only be in so many places at once. Citizens can be hired as mercenaries (for either side).

And Light-shields are personal "shield-generators" (Read the items listed in the last box for the first post).

Vosur while this is quite true, people are almost completely safe inside the cities so if you are still inside the city it would probably be unlikely that you had the sheilds and not be a hunter

The "shields" just look like gloves with a bit of high-tech backhand padding. And also, Citizens (not just Mavericks/Maverick Hunters) were armed during the entire series.

My character is a "Citizen", just an unofficial Mercenary hired by the Hunters. So the Citizens can side (or switch sides easily) without any obligation to either Mavericks or Maverick Hunters, or even become their own "task-force" if they so wish. (Repliforce ring a bell?)

I've played all the games Vosur, the citizens only tend to be armed outside of city limits

This isn't set only within the city and there were "player characters" that were not Maverick Hunters. Red Alert had Axl... Giga City (which was an artificially-made island out of the usual "setting") had Massimo, Marino, Spider, and others.

Nah, you were entitled to think about the situation... which is a bit unusual. Under most stories, anyone being a "citizen" and having weapons would be looked at as "dangerous intentions"... in this story, things have occured to where self-defense is a way of life.

Yes but still I don't think some one not of the hunters would randomly have a sniper rifle, thats the biggie in my opinion, the shields are okayish with me know because they are self defense but a sniper rifle?  How is that a defensive weapon?

You have a point there... Only reason I could see would be being ex-military or a mercenary. Most "citizen" weapons are somewhat close range or limited-range projectiles.

Also, after we have at least two more "finished" profiles, I'll probably start up the RP and see how well it goes.

Armor weight, materials, and locations: carbon woven kevlar plates into the fabric as an over coat it reaches down to mid calf and on shoulders and sleves 35 lbs, with titanium boots that go to knee, with a oval to curve up in the front to protect the knee cap (patella). 20 lbs

Non-weapon Equipment and weight: Primary generator 87.5 lbs worn as a harness (with straps that go over shoulders to help support weight), secondary generator 10 pounds attached to belt. Basic Tool-kit (portable) 4 pounds in non-powered set attached to "belt". Demolitionist Explosives with various triggers (wire, pressure, heat, "dead-man", remote-controlled) 1.5 lbs attached to "belt" Light-Shields on hands 4 lbs.

weapon types: "photon gloves" melee plasma worn plasma fists 4" reach (10 lbs each)/ "photon saber" melee plasma carried saber 2.5 feet from handle (2.5 lbs)/ "photon blaster" ranged plasma carried  Buster Pistol (12'' by 10'') weighing at about 2.5 lbs
