hmm... i was a Sonic RPer till i met Kira. my character quickly changed into a tiger named Dash :P when Dash got deleted coz i uploaded some... *cough cough* mature pictures i joined back up under the character, Cloud. he was a kitten :P then Cloud got deleted for the same reason as Dash XD i joined yet again with a new character, Xash. eventually i got really depressed and sad because Kira left me and gave my furry account to Kizo. about a month later i made a new one and stole back my old one :P one is now Bit the frankenfur and the other is Xash the "pup"

Since I'm a little child, I loved to play with animals.
I played all time I were an animal.
Most time was it a wolf.
Then I begann with roleplay on the internet with others. Then I found Furries and I learned lot of them.. I begann to draw Furries.. and Yea.. Now I'm in the fandom since 2007.

long story short, i watched the lion king in junior high. brought back so many childhood memories and it had a really strange affect on me. the movie somehow sent me into a deep, depression, u can call it I suppose. Wasnt technically sad, was more lost if anything. (who would have guessed that a childrens movie would change a teenagers life). Any who, wasnt long before I found the fandom...then low and behold....Dingo the lion (dont question the name :P ) And ever since then, life has been great, really think ive found myself.

My friend Josh converted me. I've always been passivley interested in having cat ears/tail for a while,and recently, decided to go full furry with it. So far, I do not regret this decision.

I have always loved animals. From when i was little we had a dog that i liked very much. It was a Siberian Husky and i played and played with the dog. Later when the Husky died they bought a Golden Retriver. Very nice dog too.

In later life i was interrested in werewolves and wolfs. I dreamed about having a tail. Several years later i saw an interresting documentary about Siberian Tigers and i was hooked.

I often visit zoos and watrch the tigers there. Often softly chuffing to them. Thats their friendly hello. I wanna see tigers in wild nature but hasnt enough money to do so and the temple in Thailand i refuse to visit. They arent nice to the tigers.

In 2009 i visited the A-Kon. That was really something. It was also after that i decided to make a fursuit. It did take a very long time, but i was satisfied in the end.

I'm kind of ashamed how i found out about furry, cuz it was the wrong way....yeah, i was browsing dirty pics (glad i don't anymore, it was ruining me) I came across furry pics..one day i got curious and wiki'd furry, and thought that what the fandom is really about beats out bad pics anyday.....i really regret looking at that stuff.... anyways...I've always loved tv, movies, games, etc with anthro animals in them...Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot...is it bad how i found my way into the fandom? I know about the Y word and all that, and that is definitely not my interpretation of being a fur...i guess i still don't feel completely accepted, but i just need to get on here more...sorry for getting OT

Hi all!      I'll add my two cents first then tell my not so interesting story :-p

Do NOT ever be ashamed of how you found your way into the fandom, the world/internet is full of awesome and ugly things about us.    Whether it be the dirty pics, the cool drawings or the simple spark of imagination that brought you here.  you ARE here and still love it right?  what you do NOW and from here on are what matters.

Ok, my story:   I am the only son of 4 children. 3 older sisters who I love to death.  One in particular, the oldest was into wolves.  She got me (unintentionally) interested in wolves.  and over time as I grew older and gained access to the interwebs learned a LOT about the species and then eventually the fandom and was instantly hooked.   I am a wolf at heart, I have no doubt.   In spirit and mind, and if people think that's crazy I don't hate them or judge them.  It's just different from their point of view and thats OK!   

I've always been different from people,  strange in behavior and attitude but I never knew why.   It took many years of abuse from school mates and friends to realize that I was different from EVERYONE.     Mainly because I'm goofy,  I love ALL people.    And do my best to not judge anyone.  I have my dark side and a little anger now and then but that ok I think because I don't lash out with it or hurt anyone intentionally anyway.

I'm always up for making new friends and helping anyone out that needs me or can use my help.   Sometimes I think I try too hard, other times I don't think I try enough.   Only time will tell :-p
