Started out watching rave videos on youtube with furry slideshows, one thing led to another, then I find furaffinity and get told about this forum ^_^  I never realised there was such a large furry fanbase  :)

that is pretty much how i came into it... i was watching some rave youtube clips.... and then in the related links there was "furry rave" and i was like, what? meh, its rave.... and then was like... oh... thats a furry.... checked on wikipedia, and read both some good things... and... some bad things about the fanbase.... and then checked furry forums on google and here i am!  ^_^

Haha, I googled for this site too. :P

I'm very curious though. So many people join this site, but is there such a rare occasion as only myself being the only furry in my town? That's the only thing keeping me from telling the world about myself. I want someone there with me in the process. As a friend of course, not in a weird furvert way, ew. Haha!

But I think another reason I became furry was because of the many girls I met... I compared them to animals. Like this one girl I knew was VERY pretty, and she reminded me of Jenna (Balto.) It's kinda weird, but yeah. :$

Haha, it's all good man. That kinda stuff intrigued me as well when I was younger. Good times... I watched All Dogs Go To Heaven almost every day back then.  :)

I thought I was the only furry in my town, until my friend got me to tell her about furries, and when I described her to my best abilities, she said she was a furry too, she just didn't know the terminology...

Furries are VERY confidential about their identity, so for all we know there are a few around us. I'm eyeing this girl that may be a furry... She's really pretty and draws animals... (Stalker much? :o)
