new to this "furry thing"?

So, my name is Sofie, I'm 17, bisexual, MTF, a kinda new to the whole furry thing 9-9


I cant really say I'm 100% a full on furry or anything, but I think its kinda cool ^-^ the art is super cool and its interesting seeing peoples sonas and shit


I'm not new to RP and stuff like that, I understand it a good amount


I am still sorta making my sona, so I just wanted some advice?


my bf was gonna draw her, shes a shark and about 5'2, small lol. there is a lot obviously but i wont go into detail rn

my parents don't even like I'm bi and trans, I doubt saying I'm a furry would go well xD,

Thats cool to find another trans girl on here ^-^ and I just wanted to understand the basics of making a sona and stuff like that.

I have made OCs before but mainly wanna know is there anything i have to add to a fursona or anything to take into consideration

Or is it just like a normal sona but a furry. I probably sound really dumb but i dont know a lot about the fandom only stuff my friend has shown me through the years

Hello and welcome, sweetie.  I hope you have fun here.  As for advice, I just say make something that you feel is part of yourself.  There are no real rules or anything.  As long as you are comfortable with your sona, then that is all that really matters.

I am in the same situation, thoug not trans or girl ,  Im also pretty knew to this site but the people here are really nice i just drew my fursona and it was just going of my insticts and pr-set goals
