Thank you. What a lovely crowd. You make me feel better.
The release was horrifying. The day after I felt nothing like you'd expect an author ought to; it was like giving up a baby for adoption. Then my mum went into hospital with a suspected heart attack. She's OK now, as am I.
Enough about me, what about you? You are the first
paying readers I can put an identity too, as opposed to anonymous sales figures! I would very much value your input; what you like, what you don't, what made you laugh or cry, so that the sequel can be even better. That's why I'm here. As I'm sure you know from personal experience, we only write/draw/make music etc. for the love of it. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than someone else cracking open a book I wrote and then being unable to put it down!
To address Albie's comment, the length is exaggerated on a Kindle - in print form it is about 730 pages. It should be correct after printing.
Also if you get it on Kobo's store, the ebook should be readable on just about anything, even a phone.
BTW, Dayfly Publications is planning a competition for Imp Lupi fans (when I have enough) to win a signed copy and some runner-up prizes - mugs and such. Stay tuned.
