How To Secretly Be Furry?

I would post this in the Rants/Advice area but I really don't think its that serious to go there.

I'm just having a hard time keeping it as a secret
Some people have already started calling me a furry, but as a more playful and jokingly way compared to a serious way haha


How do you secretly be furry?

I think if you simply don't tell people it's secret enough. They can guess all they want, doesn't mean you are x3

What are you doing or wearing when they say this to you?
Usually when people say I'm a furry I'm fursuiting or drawing creatures, or talking about specific subjects. So far no bad experiences though

Leave minimum traces behind
delete must pictures of yourself related to furry sites/forums and you should be good

My friend is an annoying guy that's like EVERYONE THIS GUY IS A FURRY! So it worked out quite well on my end  (Sarcastically speaking.)


In any case if I were you don't tell anyone. Or tell your most trusted friend but explain to them to keep it a secret. You don't want a friend that doesn't know anything about furries to run around advertising his/her furry friend to the haters/bullies/ people that think furries are all about something inappropriate. So many people knew I was a furry in highschool that quite litterally an old friend from a different high school heard that I was a furry. (Quite seriously.) And yeah delete any furry pictures of yourself.

Just keep it as an online thing if you don't want it part of your IRL stuff. You don't need to be all secretive or anything, as people won't ask unless you give them a reason to.



I'm sure there's more potentially embarrassing things in your net history than furries.

If you're well liked by everyone, let it be. At my high school Everyone knew I was a furry, but since a lot of people had my back, everyone would bring it up and tease me on it, but in a more friendly way. Hell I even I joked about it. Sometimes letting it be works out. ^.^ Heck that's how I made a new friend, he came up to me and said, "I heard you're a furry." I got defensive, but turns out he was too ^.^

Really, this^

You don't need to act all mysterious or anything, and I especially wouldn't try to play with people's trust like that. If you're sacrificing your integrity for privacy, what's the point of privacy in the first place?

Which I dunno doesn't make much sense to me I never cared for judgey people and will never care about anyone elses expectations atleast not if they dont match my own.
