Not to steer too much off here, but...
Politics and other jobs which require vocalisation use words to fight. Marines, army, etc. use other means to fight (weapons and the like).
In my opinion they both fight, and both try to do the right thing for their country and people.

Actually they do also fight with words. Psyops is a very large part of warfare, especially since we now fight against insurgencies. Anyone who interacts with locals is also engaging in hearts and minds warfare.
You have psyops against your enemy, trying to concert neutrals, trying to keep allies, and raise morale of your own forces. I'll skip the details

I didn't mean they weren't also using words or only using weapons.
My point is: I don't believe one group is ever better than the other. The goal is the same, and they both try to strive for it with the best intentions through their own means (be it words, weapons, or anything else).

Thank you so much for the amazing response! I have enough data to put together a proposal. I'm going to close this survey and make a new one once I've got some hypotheses. Round 2 will go public so I can hopefully gather a much larger amount of data, but I'll be sure to post about it here again. :D

(minor remark: some questions where a bit vaguely formatted, but this could be because you might have used a different kind of data collection/type of research)
