Older newbie, bear with me, I'm learning.

Hi, I am Nakke ni (Apache for Two Spirits). I am an older family man of Native American/Caucasian mix, and recently my Native heritage adn root beliefs brought me to the point of accepting that Naake ni was a very real part of me. Naake ni is the Feral Wolf who has been with me for as long as I can remember, though I didn't understand until recently how strong He was.


I am learning to accept that my wolf soul that can no longer be contained, but must be physically expressed. I wear a tail , a big, beautiful grey and black frosted tail, around the house, and am hoping to eventually wear it out in public. The tail is just the start of my transformation, as I have an artist friend who is doing the proof of concept drawings for my full suit, and also making me a very special mask and headdress.


My wife has been very supportive and understanding as I explore the Furrydom, and learn the lessons that Naake ni brings forth.


I will post more as I delve into the forums, and as things become clearer for me.

 I currently live in the Pacific NorthWest, USA. Born in California, have been all over the world, but found a comfortable place in a fitting enviroment here. For being a Therian we have a really nice community here and a special thread dedicated to it

The driving job is okay, gives me time to be with myself (I'm also a strong empath), and time to think things through or just "be" while I drive.


Learning to protect myself, to give myself a safe space, and to explore what Naake ni is trying teach me. Crowds and strong emotions have messed with my self as long as I can remember, but I am finally learning what is happening and how to cope/counter/ etc. Last job as a shop mechanic in a very emotionally charged shop was destroying me, draining me, and got to the point that I cringed every time I even thought about being there.

It seems indeed you might be possibly a Therian. We have a few kindred spirits here with regards to the Therian and Otherkin subjects. It's awesome to hear you have a supporting partner.
(I consider myself Otherkin/Therian to an extent as well.)
