They slowly stopped as Soulez came into view. Then entered the kingdom grabbing the attention of the anthro's inside. Zaida and Devin jumped off their horses, the hybrids tied them up near the entrance.

After a while, Ray set down the flask he held, and sighed. "I can't make heads or tails of this. Viola, you wanna try? Notes are on the desk over there." He featured towards an old, decrepit desk, before sitting down with a thud.

Nodding, Viola walked over to the desk, sheathing her dagger. "Sure, I'll take a crack at it," she said, grinning widely.




Zanthe arrived seconds later, tying her horse up and heading into the city.

Many admired Devin, he was well known. However many didn't know him personally not did they know his curse. Zaida only got odd but curious stares, it was common to her.
The German Shepard and saber mix looked at the zanthe who just came to the kingdom but not too long to come off rude but still smiled and bowed his head lightly as a greeting before looking away. he thought for a moment "Shall we get something to eat? On me." He said to Zaida.
The Vexū looked at the catfox who just arrived at Soulez  as well before looking over at Devin. She looked up at him with a small nod "Yes, I haven't ate ever since last night..."

Zanthe clocked in at her part-time employment as a serving girl at the local tavern.

Devin lead the way. "The tavern it is" they both went to the tavern, grabbing an empty booth.

Zanthe padded over, dressed in a serving girl's outfit. "What would you like?" she asked. "Welcome to (whatever this place is called)."

"Why thank you madam." Devin smiled lightly and bowed his head lightly to be polite. A few anthro's stared at the knight with Aw. He spoke in a gentle tone "could I have Horker and ash yam stew with bread please ma'am, any drink will do. Thank you."
Zaida bowed her head as the catfox greeted "I will have the same as him without bread and only water, please and thank you" The Vexū said softly.

As Viola worked, Ray collected as many of the ingredients as possible. He moved slower and slower with each return, his condition deteriorating.

Viola tapped her writing utensil against the side of her head. "I think I've just about got it," she said, taking some notes on her hand.




Zanthe flashed them a casual smile, having gotten into character. "Give me just a moment," she said, heading to the kitchen to cook up the food.

Devin watched her walk of giving his attention towards Zaida. "Later I'll go back to the cabin, so I don't harm anyone tonight" he said quietly as it was a full moon.
Zaida nodded, having nothing planned. "I'll ride with you."

Zanthe caught a few whispers of this, but did not hear exactly what was said. Not long after she left, she returned with the food. "Here you are, sir, lady," she said, placing the food in front of Devin and Zaida. "I hope it is to your liking."

"How has the crystal been helping?" She asked.
The hybrid sighed fiddling with it. "It's a hard process but I can hold it in longer. Oh and remember the nights I turn." They both stopped talking as zanthe came over.
Devin looked at her food, he then nodded. "Again, Thank you"
Zaida looked at her food, she grabbed the glass drinking water first.
