I need a second opinion. Is it sad that I turn around half way to work just because I forgot to tell my dad I love him, and I keep the last voicemail he and my mom send just so I have their voices should anything happen to them? It just kind of made me realize it's a sad place and mentality to have.

No one in my family tells each other that they love each other. We might fight sometimes, but when we need each other, we are always there. You don't really need to say you love someone. Actions speak louder than words.
