Fun way of learning I always reccomend: watch stuff. Listen to people speaking. I watched a bunch of YouTube, had some extra classes and it just kinda works now.
And yeah, we do have English and German, some people have French instead of German.

When I was in school, thete was 4 laanguages available. Spanish, French, Latin, the one I took for 3 years was Japanese.

Watch anime with subtitles. Should work if you can focus on listening. Read a bit of stuff around the Internet, I'm sure there's plenty of Japanese courses.
