It's because they don't think they'll get caught for saying horrible and disgusting things, which is true more often than not, unfortunately. But I just laugh at them, because nothing anyone says is going to change my worldview and pattern of thinking. It's going to take more than a couple trolls and a flame war to do that.

Poems are a whole new level of writing, at least to me. Don't think I could write anything like that without a lot of practice first

Just read back through the thread to catch up. Fortunately what I was going to randomly say fits in with the conversation. You do get a lot of hate, but I think it's more a misunderstanding of the culture because of media. Fortunately, most people don't know what to do when you turn to them and say "Yeah. I'm wearing a tail. And don't pretend you don't want to touch it and play with it." My dad says something every now and then, and I tell him he's got a pass for being an old man who doesn't even understand how we learned to control fire, but you're going to have to get over it and get over it fast, or I will eventually not be able to tolerate even you. Let me get you two rocks to bash together. My point is you're a dinosaur.

My dad puts up with a lot. X.x How does he even love me anymore?

I'm about to go write a short story on the thread, but Peg, I'm so happy to hear you're adding more to it! I can't -wait- to read what you come up with! What everyone comes up with! *hops around all excited*
