While they for sure look cool, I prefer complete darkness when I'm sleeping. Sometimes I can't fall asleep with a full moon and a clear sky, have to wiggle around in my bed for hours. Annoying if I have to go to school...

I can sleep in either some light or complete darkness - but I definitely prefer having a little light available at all times. Not sure why, but I've never been able to shake the habit.

I stopped using night lights when I was 12 or something around it, since I was 16 I started having trouble sleeping with any light stronger than the dim shine of the street lamp 50 meters away.

I still use night lights. It's pretty hard to walk when you can't see.

Recently I can only ever sleep in total darkness when my mate is with me 




And, yup, I think part of it is what you said Cecilia - if I have to get up at all, I want to be able to see, cus I don't have a portable light source available.

I'm with Makias on that topic. Been living in this house for 12 years, I know my way around without the need to see things. Didn't hit my toe on anything since 4 years too I believe, which is good

It's not an issue of sleep with me, well kinda. I used to get scared at night whenever I watch creepy stuff. That's when the lights help me the most. But I can happily say that it hasn't happened in a while.

When it comes to creepy stuff like films or computer games I tend to break them totally, by watching/playing them during the day, in a brightly lit room with a friend or two on Skype/Mumble on call.
