*playfully just starts nomming it, tossing a tiny bit at Arval*

Arval - “heey, what did I do to you ?, will take you down later for that” 
*playfully taunts and sticks tongue out at ?, keeps kneading the dough until its no longer sticky, and long enough to fit the pie pan*


*I diced the beef meat into small pieces, I half cook it, yes some with ground beef for flavor and rest is chuck-eye roast, I leave the bacon alone – I sniff the air as it smells so good*


*Vay cubes some veggies, including carrots, onions, and peppers boiled them with Scald, also similar with some potatoes she peeled them, cubed them, and boiled with Scald, as all veggies and potato boil, she cuts open the peas, then adds them all to the boil pot with veggies, and also peels corn from the cob, dices some mushrooms for some pies*


*as I get the various pie pans, Vay asks ? while passing another glazed donut* - “how you doing ?”

*sticks tongue out and keeps relaxing*

*while I show Jyo, Joseph, and Arval how to fold the dough to add to pie pans, I also tell them about the non-stick spray*


*Vay has the veggies and potatoes boiling, next she starts on the tasty beef gravy/sauce for the pies, even adds some bacon to the gravy and the juice from the ground beef and chuck-eye roast to the gravy sauce, and some flour to form a 'Roo' thicken the sauce in restaurant terms*


*I show all, as Arval, Joseph, and Jyo follow my lead – Vay passes ? a small basket of fresh strawberries to nibble while watching, five strawberries inside*


“now that we have the dough in the center of the pie pan, we carefully unfurl it making sure the crust overlaps the pan, using paws, we carefully squeeze out any air bubbles”
*I watch as all follow my lead, all being extra careful*
“next step is to carefully trim off the excess crust from the top of the pan, then wash claws so they are clean, then using two claws we will form a small indent to form the crust shape, or you can use the back of fork”
*all four of us to make it quicker use the claws*
“finally, the fun part, we start forming the pies, Arval, and Joseph we will make the beef pot pies, while Vay and Jyo make the dessert pies”
*we all get into position*


*Vay passes ? another five strawberries*


*for beef pot pies – we add a nice thick layer of bacon  with some of the ground beef to the bottom of the crust, next up we add a layer of veggie mix, then we add some corn, and finally we add cubed chuck-eye beef, and we fill the pie with beef gravy, finally add the top crust, making small cuts on dough to vent – some pies with a different crust design which Arval made, he adds mushrooms to pies*


*Vay is making mixed berry pie, she adds fresh cut up strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries, fills it up with the tasty filling, makes an overlapping pattern for the crust*
*Jyo is making a simpler apple pie with three different kind of apples, and apple filling, makes a simpler crust with a different pattern on top*


*Vay asks ? as Arval lowers head so ? can see all the pies that just need baking* - “?, how do they look like?”

*happily noms the berries while looking at them* they look tasty

*I look at everyone who are smiling and enjoying the hard work, I tells everyone, as we load pies into my special 'baking cart' I made, specially for baking*


“great job everyone, they look so lovely, we need just the final step. In a normal oven, it would take about 45 minutes to an hour to bake them only about 6 pies fit at max due to oven design and size, thanks to me as the fire fox, and I know Heat Wave, I can bake them all at once”


*Joseph and Arval push one cart, Vay and I push another cart into my 'baking room' lined up with fire proof insulation, using Heat Wave, I bakes all the pies at once, being careful not to over bake them – with baking experience, they turn out nicely, baked all the way through*


*as the tasty smell of fruit pies fill up the den, making everyone's noses to twitch from the smell*


*carts being super hot, Jyo uses psychic to put all the pies into another rack which Arval and I take out, and Joseph and Vay take the other out*


“now the tough part, is to let them cool down a bit, we can ask Grace to help cool them down a bit”
*Grace smiles, limps over on three paws, blows cold air over and below the pies to cool them down enough so they can be eaten, as Linette, Zoran, and Sherrie finish up the reading*




*while Grace cools them down, Vay picks up ? From Arval's head and asks while setting ? down in it's favorite eating area*
“would you like the pie with mushrooms or without?”

"without please" * happily waits to eat*

*Vay passes ? The pie it wants*
*once more, Grace limps over on three paws to where ? is curls around, Jyo brings her pie waits for her to get cozy, and even asks ?*
“? would you like a pillow?”


*Sherrie, Linette, and Zoran bring the six over to look at the meal, six look confused, pies, lots of pies, they wonder what the main meal will be, none of them ever seen or tasted pot pies just assume that pies are a tasty sweet dessert, even Tony asks in that cute kit-voice*
“yaay, piez, wa iz dee main mealz?”


*all six tilt head confused with Vay's answer*
“today we are eating tasty bacon beef pot pies, its a pie filled with meat, potatoes, and veggies, thats the main meal, for dessert we have mixed berry pie or an apple pie”
*all six smile, can't wait to try*


*Vay passes the six young ones pies, one too big for each one, will share two by two, not as big as a pizza – Mia and Vee share one pie – Kev and Matt from second pie – Tony and Enis nom from the third pie*

*happily enjoys the pie and nods for pillow *

*Jyo passes Grace her pie*
*then brings ? the pillow so it can rest on top*
*Vay next, comes with both ? and Grace, does her favorite part*
Vay - "would you like juice, lemonade, coffee or soda to drink with the pie?"




*the six super excited on the tasty meal, never had it before*
*all of them dig in super excitedly, loving that taste, kind of meat and veggies pie with a tasty buttery crust*
*Vay also goes with all inviting their favorite drink, all go with orange juice this time*


*Arval and Joseph before eating their meal, decide to grab two big tasty beef pot pies, and one of each fruit pie (mixed berry and apple) and go over to visit Sylvee and !, knocking on their den entrance*
Arval "hello Sylvee and !, we have some fresh made pies if everyone is hungry"
*I'm sure ! can easily pick up the scent of the apple pie*

*Vay did pass it*
*to be nice, Jyo cuts each of a fruit pie and apple pie in half, puts two half together, so one half is berry and other half is apple - as ? is finishing up the tasty beef pot pie, Jyo passes ? the fruit and apple pie, its a large sized full pie, so its a lot of dessert*
"here you go, got you some of each dessert"

*Arval and Joseph come in, first of Arval pass both a nice big beef pot pie, the ones without mushrooms, explain to them both what meal is, and how its freshly made*
*Joseph passes Sylvee the mixed berry pie letting her know what it is*
*then Joseph passes ! the apple pie, does say what it is, I'm sure the smell filling up !'s nose let's her know that*

(likely even if still fire foxy, will use as name, next visit switching over to the dark foxy for February, as the month starts tomorrow Friday, next ? visit will likely be Saturday or Sunday, will use dark foxy as '1st person') 
*as Firox noms his pie on the hammock*
*the younger ones had never really had it before, loved it, soon finish the pies they had, for dessert, each get a big slice of each dessert*


*Joseph and I come back to eat the pie we haven't started yet, both of us grab the pie with lots of mushrooms in them, Joseph even grabs a bottle of hot sauce*
*you can say, we barely started eating as most are already starting on dessert*
