*Grace again in the morning clears a path, luckily snow stopped and its sunny, cloudy at times*


*Vay is up, prepares something warm to drink*
*Joseph gets up is having fun with Arval*
*myself, still napping with the six younger ones, Jyo, and ?*
*Jyo napping on me, well below the warm fur*
*Arval is play-fighting with Joseph for fun and exercise*
*Linette and Zoran are tightly wrapped in a blanket to stay warm, sleeping on the couch, with a small heater turned on*
*Grace is outside clearing the snow*
*Sherrie in town working in the clinic*

*yawns and relaxes*

*once Kim arrives, ? wakes, and the six greet and meet Kim*


*Jyo, Joseph, Arval, and Grace help Kim bring in the ingredients*
*Linette and Zoran wrapped up tightly in two blankets, cold weather still tough on them*


*Vay calls ? over, six as well* "come on over and watch, Kim has brought us ingredients to make Ramen, going to show us how to prepare it"
*six gather round to watch, they don't know what it is, can smell the tasty aroma*
*as they make room for ? to watch*


*Vay is making two for the younger ones, 3 will share from same bowl*
*Jyo is making two bowls, one for Linette and one for Zoran, as both are still wrapped in the blanket*
*Arval, Joseph, and Grace making two bowls for each other Vee, Joseph making a third bowl for himself*
*as I watch and keep the two Leafyz warm*
*each following Kim's example as to how its made*
*all the six Vees are watching carefully, twitching nose from the good smell, trying to keep the wagging tails still as much as possible*

*Kim* "thanks everyone for letting me visit"
*all of us nod, and thank back*
*Kim* "first thing we will do is add the nori, the bamboo shoots called menma, some scallions, and leeks"
*puts some on the bowl, makes sure all are doing a good job on it, all are*




*Kim* "great job, next up carefully ladle in three full ladles of Tonkotsu broth, careful its hot - tonkotsu is a tasty broth that takes 8 or more hours to make, by boiling pork bones"
*Kim shows all how to ladle it carefully, all do a good job*




*once ready, Kim has the noodles ready*
Kim "while the broth is still hot, we carefully add the noddles so the broth softens the noodles and make them firm and tender as the broth cools down a bit - by the way, the noodles we make every day fresh in the restaurant, so when eating them, you can taste the freshness"
*makes sure all carefully ladle in the noodles into the broth, except for Joseph, he is good with chop sticks*




Kim "you can see the nori starts to get soft and easy to nibble, veggies soften too, the noodles separating and becoming firmer, the final steps are simple, we have sliced beef, we will add them to the top and make them in circular shape around the bowl"
*all follow his example*
Kim "a bit of scallion on alternating order to make it look like scallion meat pattern"
*shows them all how it looks like, all follow the example*




Kim "the last step is to add the soft boil egg in the middle of the bowl, and it's ready, you can eat it with a spoon, or if talented with chop sticks - enjoy it everyone"




*Kim passes the bowl towards ?, the bowl is almost as big as ?, one bowl should fill ? up* "enjoy it ?, this bowl is for you"

*by the way, ? can taste that everything is carefully picked and prepared - nothing "frozen" or "canned", can taste that the noodles are fresh, not that dried prepared "instant noodles" kind* 




*all of us get a bowl, the two Leafyz eat them while wrapped around me*


*the six young are eating as well, first time in their young life trying out ramen for the first time*
*yep the bowl is way too big for one or two young ones to finish by themselves, 3 can barely finish them - Kev, Matt, and Tony nom from one bowl, while Enis, Mia, and Vee nom from another bowl*





*Vay asks ? as it keeps eating* "would you like green tea, or lemonade?"
*passes what ? wants*

*?, young ones, most of us, except for Joseph and Jyo, keep eating*
*I promise to keep Joseph's and Jyo's bowls hot*

*Kim goes around with all adding more of the thinly sliced beef to each bowl, yep even ?'s*


*Kim, Joseph, and Jyo next visit Sylvee's and !'s den, once they get invited in, all three prepare them a bowl of Ramen as well, so they can eat something tasty and hot in the cold weather*

*Kim returns to restaurant*
*Joseph and Jyo return to den*
*as promised, I kept their bowls hot with Heat Wave, and keep the Leafyz wrapped around me warm too*




*by now most 'grown up' Vees half way through bowll*
*as imagine - young ones get lemonade, grown up ones get green tea*

*sylvee and ! happily thanks them for the meal*

*happily keeps eating my own trying to finish*

*probably Sylvee won't eat for the rest of the day, with a big bowl, probably ! will have trouble finishing such a big bowl*




*six are full, but still a have some broth and noodles on bottom of the bowl, yes its such a big bowl... all six can't finish them*


*Vay giggles at all* "I'm guessing will save the dessert for later, is everyone getting full?"
*the six young can't continue anymore*
*to not let food go to waste, she struggles to finish the last bit*
*all curl around me, fully satisfied, and some how fall asleep from full belly*


*only Joseph and Jyo finish last, since they help prepare a bowl for Sylvee and !*


*Grace rests on the couch, also full*
