The Snack Den

[Firox]

*still quite a lot of food left, so Vay and Firox get all together, keeping it separate, donate the remaining part to the main city shelter, will be in about 30 mins in a vehicle to pick up*
*extra TVs turned off and put away, young ones area is cleared and cleaned as well*




*back in den - Sherrie lays down on a blanket, super full as well*
*Sherrie calls ? over*  "come on over ?, going to nap too"
*six young happily follow as well, Fiona and Ethan join in*


*Jyo, Arval, and myself finish up and take the plates to the kitchen*

*nods and starts to settle down*

[Firox]

*Sherrie wraps ? in ribbons keeping it close and cozy... Jyo using psychic wraps a blanket around all*


*I curl from the front, Sherrie uses my left hind paw as a pillow*
*followed by giggle from me, the six use my long tail as their pillow*


*rest find cozy spots to nap... this time around us*


*Sherrie does tell ?* "have a safe nap, see next time"

 *walks into den while noming an ice cream cone* o3o I guess I found my place!

[Firox]

*Vay and Jyo are the only ones awake, helping to clean up the mess*

*Vay notices visitor* "hai and welcome, make yourself at home, enjoy all the ice cream you love, still have lots of Thanksgiving feast available - except for Jyo, my other brother and sisters and nephews are asleep, yes full belly"

(we celebrated a day early, since ? won't be around on Thursday, Friday I won't be around much, working)





*next day*
*Vay had taken a nap on the couch, does get up, along with Fiona who also got up are thinking of making something tasty to eat, but Fi mainly knows dessert and some pasta*
*Fi prepared tasty pie crust, just waiting for ? to decide which kind of pie to make*

* yawns alittle and relaxes*

[Firox]

(oh, hai ?, was not expecting anyone today)

*Fi and Vay making dessert to eat, they are almost done*

*sits up to also nom soon*

(at least today in this den) 


*Fi notices ?, starts to call over in happy voice*
"?!! come on over, look what I made"
*its a nice big pie crust*
"which pie would you like? we can fill it then mom or dad can bake it"
*she is referring to Vay to help fill - either Flower or Firox to bake, both are up as well*

*looks over* oh looks tasty    I'll take any

[Firox]

*Vay tells ?* "how about a berry pie? filled with various berries"
*she has blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries all ready*

*even passes a nice small basket filled with fruit while waiting*

*Flower behind us, she is making four other pies for the rest*



*I get up and stretch, or try to, hind paw still Sherrie laying down it, the four boy Vees are laying down on my tail, as their cozy pillow - soon they stretch too, those small kneading and stretching paws do tickle the fur - get up as well*

Joseph, Arval, and Jyo are out getting something
Linette and Zoran are in the garden for their usual morning routine
Flower and Firox are in the kitchen
Ethan just getting up, it slept on Firox's head tuft

*sounds good* happily enjoys the fruit for now

*sorry, forgot about Mia and Vee, they are standing next to Fiona watching and learning how a pie is made, they also got some berries*


*how they made it, crust made a bit bigger than pie pan, trim off the edges and pinch the ends to form the little bumps in back of pie*
*add some low sugar filling*
*fill the bottom with fruits, all cut up and ready*
*then some more filling*
*then cover the rest of the pie with fruit*
*finally add the last remainder of the filling to cover*
*the last top crust, well, its different, instead of a typical top, crust, Vay and Fi working together to form a braided 'lattice top' - of overlapping crust strips*
