*except for Zai and Zorro who end up with puffy fur after drying themselves off - the other three get dried off with a towel*


*Jyo meows again, tapping ears in a cat-like way, giggling as nose gets pushed*

* lies down on a pillow *

[Firox]

*Arval and Jyo join in too*
*Jyo whispers to ?'s ear* "ready for the cake tomorrow?"


*five young join in with me, Sherrie, and Linette*


*Joseph gets on the window ledge, Firox joins him this night*
*Grace joins next to ?, Jyo, and Joseph after putting away ice cream*
*Zoran lays on the hammock*

* nods * yep, all ready * yawns gently *

[Firox]

*Jyo kind of whispers and gives some more away* "it has strawberries too, cut into rose patterns"
    *meows again and soon falls asleep*




*rest do nap - I stay up in case others come to visit as all around me sleep*
*I do tell all* "have a great nap everyone"

Night night there * slowly falls asleep *

Doti: *curls up against vee* *soft murring* Alass: *walks back in from kitchen* *whispers* well looks like i missed a lot. *puts meat down* ill just save this for later. *falls asleep next to vay*


(welp i’m going to bed. night all)

*looking over* "? was tired out so it has a good rest, same to you Doti"


*looking to my right* "have a good night rest Alass, I'll take a nap too, having birthday party next day"




(April 4th is Fennekin Day, so the fennec fox we, as in me and my other sonas, are taking care of has its birhtday tomorrow, will be 6 years old - in my afternoon time will have the fun, will save cake for those that don't want to come)


*fun day - April 4th!!*
As the rest sleep, I get up from sleep and head to bakery to grab the birthday cake, and Zoran making the meal*

Spoiler for main meal and fun:

*with the lamb marinated same with veggies - Zoran and Linette put them on skewers and outside the den they grill them*
*Firox keeping all 5 young ones busy while Grace, Jyo, Sherrie, and myself get the last of the decorations up*


*after 30 mins in den time*
"Firox, let them in"
*making sure I had called everyone - as soon as Firox comes in with Zai on his head tuft*


*as soon as Zai pokes head out... all of us happily say "happy birthday" making her fill up with joy, everyone gives her a nice big hug... as Firox puts on a small birthday hat... sing her the happy birthday song*


*before eating cake.. Zoran brings the souvlaki with fresh made and super warm pita bread and good veggies to go with it also has alfredo and tzatziki sauce*
*birthday fox gets to eat first... followed by the other five young.... then all the other bigger furs*


*as Jyo finishes first... spends some time playing with Zai and the other younger ones*


*cake? its a tasty yellow cake, cut into three layers with creme cheese filling and berries inside each layer... outside is yellow thin frosting to resemble Fennekin fur, with nice cut patterns on it... with red peaks on corners and middle to resemble the ear tufts... top of cake is nice filling of various berries to read 'happy birthday Zai' and rest fill with various fruits, including strawberries cut into rose pattern arranged to resemble a garden*


*once Zai had some fun with Jyo, Arval, Joseph, and Grace play with Zai and the five young as Sherrie cuts the cake into servable pieces*

Spoiler for cake and fun:

*Zai smiles big - watching the layers of the cake, cutely goes for a lick of the first slice taking out, I smile*
"alright, alright, its the first slice for you, here you go sweetie"
*I pass the cake slice... the next four slices go with the other four young*


*Jyo, Arval, Grace, Joseph, Sherrie, Linette, Zoran, and Firox next to grab slice of cake - I grab my own slice last, there is still enough cake for seconds and thirds*


*to be fun and silly - Zai grabs a nice big filling of the frosting and playfully covers Joseph, Arval, and Jyo's face with the frosting giggling and laughing, we all join in trying to cover them, just having a nice big fun time*


"ya looks silly Arval" *Zai laughs helping to cover the Umbreon in cake and having good time doing it too

*I lets the other sleeping furs* "there is plenty of cake for everyone"
*before Zai falls asleep she got called from her dad currently in Namibia he is coming to visit in summer and misses her too*


*next birthday will be on May 7th - Rose - for Zorua day*


*next day - April 5th*
*I get up with a nice big stretch - notice the mess, decide to clean up while most sleep, Sherrie notices and decides to help too*

*an hour den time later, we finish cleaning and have some e tra cake with coffee for breakfast while thinking of something to make*
*Sherrie* "how about some macaroni and cheese with bacon bread"
"Ohhh, that sounds tasty, lets get started"

*Sherrie and I get started on everything, I start with kneading of bread as Sherrie starts mixing dough for macaroni*

*once all kneads and ready, Sherrie cuts them into right bite size pieces, I use scale on couple pots to have boiling water ready*
*Jyo, Arval, and five young wake and get ready for the day*

* yawns and stretches *

[Firox]

*I puts macaroni into boiling water, Sherrie cuts up cheese into smaller cubes for easier melting, gets cream ready*

*as the bread in the oven baking - some with bacon other with spinach*

*five young greet as they still play with Jyo, Arval and Joseph*
*Arval still has slight smell of cake*

* relaxes while watching * ^^

[Firox]

*Jyo tells ?* "Arval kind of looked like a Fennek with the yellow and white frosting"
*Joseph* "red frosting on its ears looked like ear tufts"
*Arval* " hey you two, I heard that"
*Jyo* "you did"

*Arval sniffs air* "smells like bacon"

* giggle and nods * hehe they do   

[Firox]

*Jyo shows the photo on its phone - very closely resembles one - so much frosting*

*Arval forgetting everything goes to where nose takes him - gets stoped by my fin*
"Is still in the oven, don't get hurt"
*I take bread out of the oven to cool in a baking rack*
*Sherrie stirs macaroni into cheese mixture and some into Alfredo mixture - adding bacon and small meatballs to both*

*Zai to be cute brings a slice of cake to ?, the one with letter "Z" and three strawberries cut into roses*
*says in cute voice* "saved you some cake tew"

*as ? enjoys cake, I set aside a bowl of Alfredo spinach macaroni with bacon and meatballs, and a tasty spinach garlic bread to dip - set next to*

*I prepare some for younger ones and myself - we sit down to eat*
*I tell rest* "Rene.bee to share and everyone grab as much as all like"
