"Impressive. A spell mimic." she said, smiling approvingly. "It just so happens both of our magics are on similar levels. Or at least are similar in structure."
She waved a hand and a small ball of red energy floated between them.
"This is a minor nexus, a tear in the dimensional membrane surrounded by a spell tethering it to the world. I opened it from the plane of fire, just to start."
She snapped her fingers and a wooden dummy appeared about twenty feet away. "Since you mimic and drain power, I want you to pull from this nexus and hit the dummy over there."
