I've been trained in all xD Although the last two were at once I got sword training from a local rennaisance fair af-Hmm. I dunno if latin phrases that have been tramsutated into common English use fits the forum rules. I'll avoid that o.o
Anyway you get the idea xD Although frankly I only practice with my machete, hardly a sword Can't afford the good stuff.

My dad's friend makes a side business completely devoted to selling antique bladed weapons, I've seen some pretty scary swords that they were using a few hundred years ago as well as how you're supposed to use them. Some were so sharp if you were to touch the blade you would bleed x.x.

As for latin phrasing on the forum, foreign language was recently permitted in our rules however we still appreciate it if you provide the definition/translation of what the phrase means.

SWEET! Think he can get me an old triangular bayonet in good condition that won't, y'know, warrant selling my blood? I love those things xD Just a nasty little innovation. About a week ago I saw a curio rifle from former Yugoslavia. I believe it was an SKS pattern, anyway, it had a permanently attached 11-inch serrated triangular bayonet. Completely nonstandard but the guy said something about how his father had brought it over and he done it anyway it wa awesome.

For the military, yes. But as a curio rifle it has the advantage of not being constrained by regular gun laws.
Geneva banned them, because they were considered inhumane. But non-signee contries and civilians can still own them.

He probably could, he goes to several of those auction houses and scours ebay, weapon sites, and probably even craigslist for another potential sale. He has tons of encyclopedias and books about unique swords and the artists who made or continue to make them. Custom weapons are always the best as much more devotion is put into the forge.

I don't personally have his email or phone number, so I'd have to ask my dad when I see him later.

And if a country can ban something fun, they usually do these days.

But I agree with you on custom pieces. Unfortunately I can't really make my own because my foundry/microforge can barely work with aluminum -_- And that's no use.
And if you could get me an email or something that would be great! I need somebody to elp me with my old weapons fetish xD Maybe fetish is the wrong word.
 
And I concur- They ban the fun stuff. Which encourages people to find loopholes!
