Just made this:
One day in the merry land of Furry, an old looking hobo walked up to me.
He said, "Son, have you got any change to spare? I've done run out cuz life ain't no fair."
It was lucky for him I was in a good mood. Otherwise I'd have real rude.
I looked in my pockets, checkin' my stash. But to my surprise I didn't have any cash.
So that's when I thought of a suggestion and popped the hobo a weird question.
"Sir, I'm sorry but I got nothin' today. But how's about I give a place to stay?"
He said, "Boy that sounds a swell deal! Would you also be kind to spare a meal?"
After nodding my head I grasped his hand and we started home. So far this day was grand.
Typical me, I got distracted. I saw a good buddy and overreacted.
"Bill!" I yelled, "It's me, your friend! Come to my place, I got some time to spend!"
So the three of us trot on down the road to a final destination. My humble abode.
But before we arrived we did something else. We saw another good friend by the name of Chelse.
She said, "Hey there boys, I think I'm done mowin'. Can I tag along to where yer all goin'?"
We said, "Sure thing Chelse, just follow us! We're all about to hop aboard the fun bus!"
All four of us walked up to the stop. We boarded the bus after it was stopped by a cop.
So there we were riding home real fast, all the while we're having a blast.
We're soon dropped off at the front of my gate, and just in time. Man it's gettin' late!
We didn't get far before we heard something shouting out a menacing word.
"Halt right there! Tell me who goes?!" We all instantly shuddered down to our toes.
"It is I, Lizard! The owner of this place. Who ever you are, please show your face!"
"It is I, the hobo of Furry Land. These people here are lendin' a hand!"
"It is I, Bill. Lizard's friend. I was dragged along from around the bend..."
"It is I, Chelse. The tom boy cat. Can't you tell from my cowboy hat?"
It said, "Oh, in that case come on it! I had no idea Lizard was bringin' home kin."
As it turned out the voice was my mate. Grrrr, that goofball Nate.
Together that night we all had fun. Now I'm sorry to say that this story is done.
