(Im asking for a good reason, im gooing into marines in a couple years, maybe when im 25 and got the partying out of me, after 2 years going to scout snipers, maybe do a few tours then retire and have a nice life with some family. whoa that got DEEP.)
I've been in service for 2 years now, by the time your in the Marines, you will likely be using a Bushmaster ACR chambering the 7.62x51mm NATO round. 2 of my good friends from high school are Marines, ones a sniper and the other one is an EOE (explosive ordinance expert)
Yes I know the EOE peeps. My cousin went in as a mechanic, ended becoming one due to the time he defused a cell bomb after finding it in a trunk of a car.
He got ALOT of medals for that one.
You have an idea on the weaponary we'll be using in snipers? (7-10 years depending on how many tours) Im hoping to use something like the L115A3, that thing is GOOD. Really reliable, uses the .338 i think.
