yeah i've played amnesia, its quite the horror game. story is kinda hard to follow and the only thing that bothers me about it is the fact i cant fight the monsters. they just chase me and kill me

so it bugs you that its realistic? how many people would have what it takes to take the beard mouth zombie thing on under such circumstances

The more realistic a horror survival game, the scarier. The fact that you can't kill them makes you feel helpless which makes some even more scared.

well at some points in the game you almost always die which is rather annoying. and under the circumstances id throw or bash it with whatever i've got at hand.
but i do understand that it adds a sense of helplessness to the game.

Yes and the cliffhanger at the end will leave you wondering for days. Though I haven't played, I normally review new games so I've watch a gameplay video which showed the whole game and ending.
